Just needs to stay healthy, take the time off this season to work on staying in shape and healthy. God will do the rest.

I hope that JI will do whatever he has to towards staying healthy and better his abilities as his career progresses. Hopefully everything will pay off long term for him and the Magic.

I honestly think it is a big mistake, why not wait for another year to see if he is fully healthy then give him an extension?

Nice deal. Isaac is probably the player with the highest value on the team. He is young and he can play awesome defense. Great deal!

I doubt Fournier cares, he could leave in free agency and get big money anyway

I like it.
It's all about Jonathan Issac staying healthy. If he's healthy, this extension is a great deal.
Issac's offense was also starting to look better before he got injured.
Good to have him locked up.

That's a lot of money tied up in a fragile body, so I expect his rehab to be even slower and more thorough this time around, maybe not even for the start of next season.
But if he can come back healthy, that's a DPOTY signing for $20M a year, which is a bargain. Even if his offense doesn't develop further. So overall, great signing.

I'm a little nauseous with that $20 million number for a guy with his injury history.
