The Magic are adjusting without Markelle Fultz and it could be a rough time on offense for a while.

I'm good with trading AG, Evan, Ennis, Clark and Bamba for a couple 2nd round picks that we'll eventually trade away later for 2nd round picks lol

I doubt they get a top 3 pick. The thing is the magic have put themselves in such a terrible situation. They are still not bad enough to be truly bad but they are not good enough to to be truly good either. They are just stuck.

So in all seriousness, would Dallas even consider Porzingus for Vuc?

He really is. We need to sign a vet PG ASAP. This is what I was worried about when Fultz went down. Cole is simply not ready for this.

Honestly, the magic offense wasn't that great even with Fultz.

Yeah unless they fully commit to punting this year, I don't think we'll get a top 3 pick either which makes watching these games even more frustrating. The core vets on this roster have peaked. We needed a fully healthy roster just to compete for the bottom three spots in the playoff seedings. That isn't happening this year. Now we are watching a team with no real sense of direction.

yeah he's having a rough stretch....he's competing and that will keep him on the floor but he has to start hitting shots, it's one thing to be missing contested shots but it's something else to be missing wide open ones.....Cole clearly has a long way to go, just got to keep playing and at some point the shots will fall....I just hope coach will let the kid make his mistakes and not try and change his game too much

Completely, agree with this. And I think you were alluding to this in the post I responded to but I misunderstood. Sorry about that.

If Bamba was passed fit to play and it was clifford's decision to not play. Then Clifford needs to fired.

I would have said zero chance before this year, but man Vuc Is turning it on. I don’t think he would work as well as with Doncic, but at least he is healthy.

You know who would be perfect next to KP is JI, but of course would be two of the biggest injury risks.

Agreed, I don’t understand the Clifford hate for Bamba. He was plenty good enough last night.

Interesting I think Vuc would be fantastic with Doncic, which is what made me think of it. Vuc would help them win now and is less of an injury concern.

Let's be totally 100% transparent here.

Fair or unfair, right or wrong - Mo Bamba is the Orlando Magic's third string center.

That's what he is.

The only reason he played last night is because Gordon was out and Clifford was forced to shift Birch over to backup PF and needed a backup C.

That's the only reason he played last night and with Gordon back, that's why he didn't play tonight.

maybe injury or something because he definitely could've played tonight

All good. You never know with the way emotions fly around here in this forum...

My expectations were low already to start the season due to JI being out so the losing hasn't bothered me as much as it has in the past. Losing Markelle really sucks and now he is a major question mark on whether he can truly improve his outside shooting while not suffering any long term issues with that knee. These last two games have been a pain to watch because we are actually still trying to win, we just aren't talented enough to compete. It is time to be sellers and actually start acquiring assets. Things are not going to be magically better next year when JI, Okeke and Fultz are healthy enough to play again.

I agree. I think Vuc's game meshes beautifully with Doncic and Vuc fits Rick Carlisle's offense as well. I would imagine that Porzingis would hate it here in Orlando though.

Here's the thing though...we all want to tank but at the same time if we play nothing but young players and look terrible we will still complain. We actually want to acquire and play youth in preparation for the next couple of seasons, they have to look and play well, but also lose every game possible lol
