Lets be honest.. if you got demoted to the gleague after playing in the nba you probably are a scrub or scrubish. Ita up to you to improve yourself and worthy to play again in the regular league. So you were right he WAS a scrub but maybe now he improved to be worthy again?

Nope. But this is the expected outcome of his injury. And the real threat of players signing these extended two-way deals (worth 52 games). In years past, a guy like Mason would have got a vet-deal, got injured, and then got paid.

For example: Isaiah Briscoe's retirement was pre-paid by his injury. Other examples of pre-season in-game injuries leading to guaranteed contracts (whereas if the player had hurt themselves gardening; then nothing).

This is awful for Mason.
