Fournier and especially Terrence Ross went full superhero HULK on our precious tank tonight.

If this FO is even considering staying in the race for a good top 6 draft pick, which I'm not sure of.... IF they're considering it, they absolutely need to try to get rid of at least one between Ross or Evan before the trade deadline.

Otherwise... well, we all know what happens - we get a mid 1st and WeHam try to outsmart the league and in the end they manage to outsmart themselves by picking an injured role player at best.

Ross/Fournier/Vuc :

Good enough to not be a top lottery team.
Bad enough to never win anything.

In the 8 games that Cliff has been forced to play Bamba:

Vucevic -155
Bamba +31

Tonight:
Vuc -11
Mo +12

To update the stat over the last 9 games (which I used to do for Fultz vs DJ for a while):

Vuc -153
Mo +47

Please take this down before anyone from the Celtics sees it. Shhhhh haha

Bamba needs to sit out more games. The defense looks way too good when he's in the game.

The case could be made that was the best Ross has ever played in a Magic uniform.

Cliff with lowkey shots fired at fans and reporters... talking up Vuc's 'communication' skills on defense while saying 'there are guys that block a lot of shots but are terrible defenders'....

Well he's not wrong. There are guys that block shots who play terrible defense. Like I said a little bit ago, you can count on Mo to play hard when a fire has been lit or when he's playing the Knicks. Its good to see but it shouldnt be trusted. Its funny how excited people get though.

Well he's not wrong. THere are guys that block shots who play terrible defense.

Absolutely... but there was a smugness about his answer. Like 'I'm tired of being asked about Mo!'. I dunno... it just came off as a bit petty IMO.

Its really good to see Mo doing something but we all need to see it consistently. Im just happy Cliff is playing him.

HORRIBLE NIGHT!!!

We now have the same number of wins as the #8 team in the tankathon. Only our loss count keeps us at #5.

The problem is that he thinks people are talking about blocks when they label Vucevic a lousy defender. It’s fairly obvious that our stats people don’t have a voice in the room.

:banghead:

please take this down, embarrassing yourself isn't nice.

Do you know that Draymoond Green has highest plus minus in nba history for one season? But it's not just that, he is ranked 3 times in top 10, making him the actual greatest of all time, according to your logic.

How missleading raw plus minus is? Remember Rose and 2011 MVP win? Do you know who lead Bulls in plus minus?

Spoiler:

This guy.

Same year, same flawed logic, same stupidity. NIck Collis was better player than Lebron.

What is really means? it measures how a player's backup, with other backups, plays against the opposing backups. In other words, it actually doesn't tell you what it's trying to.

Teams that are bad more often than not have terrible plus minus by starters, because in close games their players will have semi-equal plus minus and in blowouts , during "rebound" garbage time they are on bench.

Just wait until we start racking up more meaningless wins at the end of the season. Magic are a painful team to pledge allegiance to.

wanna hear something crazy?
2,5 games behind 8th seed
2,5 games behind worst record

East is complete disaster, right now only 4 of 15 teams have positive record. Celtics at 14-14 ( .500) record are 5th :banghead:

30/4/6 is a robust and complete box-score. His +22 is amazing. His efficiency against the Knicks bench is clearly the reason Orlando won this game.

Cmon guys, cheer up...we may not have the worst team, but we definitely appear to have the worst fans
