I voted Gordon because he actually appears to have *some* value, whereas Fournier on an expiring contract has virtually none.

But really I expect nobody.

Same mindset here. If Fournier is traded it’s for 2nd rounders lol. AG is our only decent asset and this FO clearly thinks they can get a lotto pick for him rofl

No one.

Alex Martins likes this roster even though it’s flawed and hasn’t made sense for nearly a decade.

Idealist in me says Gordon+Fournier

Realist says no one because making moves would be an admission of failure (which it has been).

I voted Nobody. I genuinely do not think we will make a move.

I think Fournier will be moved soon. He sold his house and has basically sat out the entire year. His Bird rights are valuable to a team that sees him as a long term fit.

I think AG blossoms on a different team that has a point guard and competent medical staff.

It's really a toss up between who gets traded first, but I think they both do.

It would be stupid for Fournier to still be on this roster after the deadline.

After yesterday’s news of Hollinger/Leroux and Martins comments I’m going nothing lol

Agreed. It would probably lead me to believe he's coming back for 20m x 4 years :banghead:

Ey guys I have a prediction in the offseason:

Evan : "After listening to all the offers in the league, I've decided to resign for 20+m a year with my team, Orlando Magic. I agree with Alex that we could've won it all in the bubble if it weren't for injuries. I am excited to RUN IT BACK AGAIN with all the familiar faces ; Fultz , AG , MCW , JI and of course, my best BUDDY Vuc, who knows how to play BALL with me."

" Magic in 2030 y'all "

P.S. " Huh? Wassat? Our Star-Rookie Cade? Well all rookie should know their place. I'm sure he will be happy playing 10mins a game from the bench and watching Vuc and me play winning basketball "

That is an acceptable contract to retain Fournier. And could be a good one if Orlando can leverage Gordon for an improved shooter at the PF slot (assuming Isaac will continue to be the SF). Lauri Markkanen is easily the type of player I can envisage.

Fournier can't get 20, then Markannen is an RFA who'll get 20....we'll be beyond screwed financially. You just can't have 5 or 6 guys making so much. Vuc, Markannen, Fournier, Isaac, Ross, Aminu, Fultz all getting paid- individually, each is okay but you just can't have that kind of roster. Plus, hopefully, add a pretty large rookie deal in Top 5

Gordon is at 18M now, so Markkanen is not wildly off of that. And Fournier to go from 18M to 20M is not out of bounds can wise. There is a 4M gap here in total. So ....

And as always: it is Amino's contract making this conversation difficult.

and Isaac and Fultz's new deals move them into the big money piles. ORL was already stretched, need some young guys for old guys this week to balance the books a bit.

Financially it would be great if Orlando could trade Aminu for a top-59 protected draft pick !

To add to your point: with Birch and Ennis coming off of the books, it is hard to see how either could be resigned.
