Re: Chuma Okeke first outlook
I’ve been pretty critical on a lot of aspects of his game. So I’ll just say the 2 things I think that are NBA caliber: seems like he’ll be a great catch & shoot player one day. And he seems to always know where to be on defense, just not that great of a 1 on 1 defender imo.
Not bad for a 2nd round pick. I’d still much rather have NAW but there’s no sense whining for the 40th post about it.

I agree that the aggressiveness hasn't been there. Hopefully that is not an indicator of his future style of play.
Remaining patient. If he can be a solid contributor off the bench or X factor, that would be ok. A Mikael Pietrus type would be fantastic.

First outlook?
As I expected coming back to play from a major injury.
Tentative, "Scared" , 2nd-guessing... It's probably next season where I can and will fairly judge him. Been there and done that after a "major" injury... I was afraid to jump to my highest abilities lol
BBIQ is there and more, body-wise I prefer he becomes slimmer like in college, everything else as I expected ( pretty underwhelming ) for a " returnee"

Seems to have his legs back under him. Not as explosive as pre injury but u can see a difference as the season goes on.
When we get a set rotation he will be a good role player. Maybe next year.

Do we really expect anything more from a guy who was projected to be a 3 and D guy?
