Hampton looking better and better. Good game by him.

Yeah. I was surprised they were even joking to each other after Cole attempted to block Westbrook’s layup at the end of 3rd. Didnt know they know each other

Happy to see Bamba, Hampton, Cole get heavily involved & shots. Need to figure out a way to keep Okeke involved with other players coming back, hopefully this is just a one game thing. Good loss!

Cole being a highly regarded high school prospect probably has something to do with that. Just a guess.

I’m fascinated if Clifford’s decision to basically play all young guys + Ross the entire 4th quarter was just coincidence or an actual plan moving forward the rest of the season.

If it’s the plan, the losses are gonna pile up. Which isn’t a bad thing.

Im just sad Okek3 couldnt continue his double digit scoring or his 2 man game with wcj. As someone said, once we took the ball off Chumas hands, he became less productive.

I just picked up Wendell Carter when he was playing 30+ minutes per game and now he's back under 30 minutes tonight and he don't earn as much. I got him and Okeke on certain teams and starting to monitor RJ Hampton.

I think Clifford just decided to award Bamba the whole 4th cause he was playing well. Nothing to see here really.

Yeah that's what happens when you play well, you earn minutes. Its becoming more evident, as expected with regular minutes, that he's still a poor rebounder but he had an overall good game. Glad to see Cole back, but it was clear that these guys are still getting a feel for each other.

If Bamba is a poor rebounder that would make WCJ what?

Plenty of things to justifiably criticize Bamba over, but rebounding isn’t one of them.

His career REB% is 17.7% and he’s been over 18% each of the last two years.

WCJ’s a *slightly* better offensive rebounder because he is typically closer to the basket than Bamba is, but Mo’s rebounding overall is one of the few things he does really well.

Good tank game, played young folks so fans are pleased and engaged, stil lost, witch is good long term.

As far as Bamba critique goes, rebounding really isn't one of them.

But, as i've said before, Magics starting lineup with Okeke and Wendell Carter simply gets killed in rebounds department. 5 Magic starters had 16 rebounds, 6'4 westbrook had 14 alone

Well, this pair combined for 10 points in 36 minutes played.
(( They actually had the "best" plus/minus lines of all starters, whatever that means ))

What a friggen ABA-style game. Orlando's horrible defense is not something pro-tankers should be wanting to see.

What a joke.

Thats what you have to live with when you play so many rookies & young guys. Rookies cant defend in 95% of the cases. For every Isaac or Thybulle, you have 30 Anthony's or Hamptons. But thats normal. OKC with KD & Russ was the worst defensive team too in there first 1-2 years. They gonna learn to defend in the next 2-3 years.

You can tank with young guys and lose 115-130 or you take scrub vets & mid 20's g-leaquers & lose 80-100. I prefer the former for the rest of the season.

Bamba isn’t a good rebounder @17% centers should be around 20%. It takes energy, Effort, desire and physicality all thing he can control and improve but all things Mo lacked coming out of college. I still think he’s bad. Gets moved around a lot and takes himself out of position when chasing blocks.
