Magic Waiving Karim Mane'

The Magic are going to waive Karim Mane' from his Two-Way Deal.

Many of us thought The Magic really liked him. It's surprising as they did not waive him when they were short-handed. I myself thought he might be a Two-Year Two-Way Prospect.

I guess not and we might see some more moves as The Magic will likely audition a few players in the final month of the season.

Mané was somehow even more raw than advertised.

He made just 4-41 threes in the G-League bubble. Was pretty much the no questions asked worst player for Lakeland.

I certainly didn't mind giving a player that young a shot to see if there was something to build on, but he was just light years away from being able to positively contribute in an NBA game.

Wish him the best wherever he lands. Hopefully he puts into good use what he learned this season with the team, if any.

Aw mane!

He needs some more seasoning, hopefully he'll make a team in the future.

Feels bad mane...

I'm guessing we're looking to sign a big man to ride out the season?

The famous Bruno Caboclo slogan: "Two years away from being two years away", but at least we didn't spend a 1st on him ;)

how do you wave a 2-way and replace him with a 10-day?
aren't those 2 different slots?

Wow didn't realize he shot that badly in the G league from 3. That's beyond terrible.

I agree. It's seems to just be something to try out young players with very limited experience/exposure or for teams to put literally anybody from the street when a team is destroyed by injuries.

He wasnt a good player but I liked having a raw player with potential as a two way.

Much prefer that than having a player like Josh Maggette
