Alright, don't have the link but in the GT it was mentioned by SHAMS that the RAPS got fined 25k for violating resting policies?

I mean WTF? Why the RAPS only and not DET and OKC?

This should also serve as a warning or guideline on how we ahem "rest" our players

I think it was for not submitting the paperwork by the cutoff time. Probably have to give the gamblers an official heads up if you plan on sitting someone.

Spurs got fined for resting players as well.

Considering the Raptors are now resting Fred Vanvleet along with all the players they rested against us today, highlights how the cost of 25k is a willing cost to pay for a better chance at a transcendent talent. I would happily want the Magic to pay 25-50k to rest our main rotation if it means we lose the rest of our games.

Im fine with the 25k fine as long as we get results against the tanking team. I dont wanna be like the RAPS, sitting out players, getting fined for it yet still getting smashed by our TANK lol

Explains why the Thunder haven’t gotten fined

So much BS about tanking despite it's objective to expect at least 1 team from 6,7,8 and 9 range to leapfrog over top 4 tankers...
You can reform lottery, teams still think they can outsuck their path toward "greatness" while, in mean time Lamelo Ball, 3rd overall pick and best player from 2020 draft, was taken by team that had 9th worst record.

2019 was even more obvious example, Zion and Morant drafted by teams that were in playoff hunt for most of the season, while deep tankers were "rewarded" with nothing.

these fines are ridiculous anyway, 25K is pocket change for these teams.
