If you are referring to the long two he took, that was a two for one at the end of the first quarter. I was befuddled initially as well.

It's funny. I shouted at my screen. I don't know how an NBA official can miss that call. That was one of the most obvious blocking calls you are going to see.

I think he is worth a roster spot next year to see if he can stick. He can obviously shoot and I've been generally surprised by his effort and defense. I figured they would be abysmal before I'd seen him play. The physical tools aren't great, but I think there is a place for him in the NBA. He's a tweener. He isn't a PF and he isn't built to defend wings. He's better than Jarell Martin was though, so I'd be fine with him as a deep bench option.

Was that a two for one? I'll be honest I just saw the shot and didn't pay attention to the clock at all.

Right? That PnR skip pass was a thing of beauty.

I really don't know why we don't put the ball in Chuma's hands more to playmake. He seems to put players in better scoring positions than our guards do.

That was actually a bounced pocket pass. Skip passes are crosscourt passes and almost always overhead passes, though they don't have to be. It just means you are skipping someone in the rotation. But I agree that it was gorgeous. I wish we were more unconventional with our offensive roles because you don't have to be a primary ball handler to be capable of running the pick and roll.

If the comment was about the shot I remember, then yeah. I thought it was really out of character for him to launch that shot, then I noticed there was about 30 seconds left in the quarter, so the coach probably called out two for one as they were coming up the court.

Agreed. But as I said, if we had to win one ... it might as well be the Lakers.

Ahhh thanks for the clarification. I never learned the distinction between them other than them just being passed on the bounce.

you really don't know why we don't play a certain way? of course you know

I’m not sure what you mean? Cliff has been happy to let AG and Fournier initiate and run plays plenty, so having someone other than the PG dictate the offense isn’t any kind of proven Clifford staple. Or is that not your inference?

I think it means that since we know its effective, big chance we are gonna win the game if we keep using it. Thus, we try something else

Unpopular opinion: Turkey Bacon is a legit rotation player.

It's not all the way unpopular. I've been thinking that way about him all season. Wouldn't be mad if he was a bench scorer for us next season.
