Our guys need to get bigger and tougher. Players like Montrezl will always play the bully ball role on contenders

Don’t want to jinx it but unless there is an epic collapse, Detroit will win tonight!

I don't think so. He has about the lowest basketball IQ I've ever seen. There is no rhyme or reason to his decision-making. When he hit that tougher jump shot where he complained about no foul call, he had Bamba standing all alone under the rim right in front of him. He doesn't make reads. In our last game or the game before he passed up a shot to put the ball on the floor and pass it with one second left in the quarter. He just has a sand timer in his brain that tells him to shoot every so often. If he could actually make reads, I'd like him just fine.

Well he's the only wing on our team playing right now that can legit slash to the basket. He's not a starter, so I wouldn't depend on him in a starter role, but he can play. You'd have to put him in a JR Smith type role.

Yeah I take back the nice thing I said about Bacon. Bamba was wide open on the roll and Bacon completely missed him.

Just no. If he’s in your regular rotation, you don’t have a good team. Can he be a 11th/12th guy on a roster? Sure but not a regular rotation player.

Yes he is. His shot selection is improving and is letting the game come to him.

I don't really see him as a bully. He is just a really quick and crafty post player. People try to body him up but they can't stay in front of him. He'll lean up against you to move you, but if you lean back against him, he will spin and he is gone.

Bacon never finds a shot he doesn’t like. His blinders are worse than Evan’s

He plays with a very nice low center of gravity and is really good at his angles in the pick and roll. Trying to out muscle him will not work.

Bully might be a poor choice of words. I just mean that he isn’t afraid of contact and will use his strength (and speed) to his advantage.

I like him. I don't necessarily like his game right now, but I think he will figure it out.

He's been steadily improving.

You can tell Cole is not a natural creator, but he's clearly more advanced at it than Hampton and he appears to be finding some comfort running the offense.

Defensively he's really bad even though he gives good effort.
