I really don't have an issue with how Hampton has played. He has had some silly turnovers, but I think his effort level is good and I think he picks his spots well enough. You can see that he isn't completely blind out there. He just has to refine some of his skills. I would expect that he will settle into a role as a 3nD guy in the end, but I wouldn't rule out more. A lot will depend on how good his shot gets, but there is a lot of value in guys that play good defense, hit open threes, and attack closeouts. If you can do those three things, you can be a really good NBA player. That's well within Hampton's reach.

I agree… he’s just so damn raw that he’s just not going to give you many positive minutes if we are trying to win next year. He’s the proverbial ‘2 years away from 2 years away’ player to me… but he does play hard and has the physical tools.

Memphis came out strong in the third quarter and built up a lead that was to much for Orlando to overtake. Same two teams tomorrow night.

As much as I like Fultz and JI, from the last time we saw them, they would not move the needle on this problem much. We need Cade, Suggs, or Green.
