I hope not, Magic should treat him, it's not like he is a MAX guy that can cover those expenses.

Thornwell seems like a Coach Cliff type guy.

I don't know for sure and certainly could be wrong, but I believe if a player gets injured while under contract that the team is responsible for their medical costs (surgery, recovery, physical therapy, etc.) until they're healthy.

By law they're required to have worker's compensation at the very least. That would cover all medical bills, compensate him monthly, and compensate him for any permanent damage he has.

I really liked Thornwell coming out of college. Obviously I missed and he hasn't panned out, but never know might be able to contribute as deep bench player in future. As long as he doesn't mess up and get us more wins this year I'm happy.

*sigh* another scrub we signed off the street just itching to get a career high in auditioning and leading us to a much-hated win. lol
