I guess he is not completely garbage after all like some were suggesting.

Congratulations RJ ... Kid has a good head on his shoulders .. competitive attitude and willing to learn and perfect his game .. no tattoos and no fade (haircut) are priorities lol

Always believed in RJ and glad to see he got to end his season on a high note. I really like what he brings to the table for the Magic and hope he works real hard this summer on his strengths and weaknesses so that he comes back and does great things in year 2.

Nice thing is that while Elf was able to string together a RotM performance he could never do it consistently. Huge disappointment. RJ on the other hand, seems to have that 5th gear that Elf only showed glimpses of.

JK. But for real though.... Called the trade a while back.... (may have included bol bol as well instead of )... but i was excited when the trade went down. Hampton has the "IT" factor... .and can't wait to see where he goes. We lucked out with his drop in the draft.

Cole had a good May too. Like how the guards have grown. Now what do we do with our Centers shooting 15% from 3? RJ was a nice pick up for Gordon

We don't need our centers doing anything from three necessarily if we have shooting in other positions. I don't want to always force a Vuc-centric offense from center position.

Wow, didn't really see that coming, since I haven't been tracking other teams' rookies much.

But congratulations to the young man. He seems to have a lot of potential, even though there's plenty to work on. It's a lot easier to accumulate stats on a tanking team as opposed to a team trying to achieve something. But this was a nice surprise.

Honestly, Denver seems to have a pretty darn good track record with draft picks, so I wouldn't be shocked if RJ turned out to be a good player.

It sounds like he has another summer of work scheduled with Mike Miller. If he can become a consistent 38% shooter from deep, he is going to be good, with a possibility for being much better than good.
