Really hope the magic don't regret passing on Bouknight and Kuminga.

Why?Is Franz a bust compared to the two? I am/was a fan of the two ( check the thread when we were debating who to get with our 5 and 8th pick when we assumed it was Barnes/Kuminga for the 5th and 8th was between Bouknight/Moody) but no way would I regret getting Suggs over Kuminga and Franz over Bouknight.

I just have a feeling Bouknight and Kuminga might end up better but I am just guessing.

We all have enough of our own sports anxieties that we don't need anyone to post theirs.

I'm watching this Bulls-Heat game, and Bulls fans are trashing Vuc pretty bad right now.

People here just don’t care about winning. Some here just like numbers. We’re seeing it again on our own board.
Meanwhile, bulls fans have quickly recognized that Vuc isn’t what he was built up to be.

I posted the stats about a month ago, and Lowe even said it on his podcast the other day, but WCJ has legitimately been a better player than Vuc this season.
When you consider the fact that WCJ is on a team-friendly deal, is only 22, was a top 7 pick, plus the fact that they gave up him, a top 8 pick, another first, and took on Aminu's contract just to get Vuc, it's hard not to view that as a major whiff on their part.
The solid offseason moves definitely have helped to ease the blow and draw attention away from that trade, but those are the type of moves when you can't ever reach that championship ceiling that you look back on and point to. Wagner would be awesome on that roster, and they'd have additional assets to make a move for another star.

well so far its not trending that way. Franz is showing a lot that makes our expectarions skyrocket.

Are you seriously criticising F-Wagner selection? Because this is the meaning.

Re: Around the NBA- 2020/2021 Edition
I love Kuminga's potential and would happily trade some pieces to add him BUT I'm grateful that GSW took him before we might have at 8. I would have found it impossible not to take Kuminga if he were still on the board...and I would have made a mistake...Franz is just better. Bouknight is nice but a lot more "dime-a-dozen" package in size/skillset...I really think Franz is something special-way beyond any particular stat line. I think Franz will continue to do whatever is needed on any given night and there is very little he can't do at a high level. He'll only get better with better players to work with...like a Pippen-type.

Even if they do, Franz has been great for a #7 pick and will get even better.

He looks like the worst signing of this past free agency cycle.
At least that 4th year is a team option.

Oh no, not saying that Wagner was a terrible pick because obviously he is a good player and will be a very good player. And I have posted that Wagner has been nice surprise. I think he is comparable to Hayward. I just like Kuminga potential a little more. It's like the Trae Young vs Doncic debate. Both good players but I think most would still choose Doncic.
My concern for the magic will always be finding a superstar. They have always had good players but that one star has always held them back. For a league that star driven that will always be concern for me.

Right now F-Wagner is displaying traits that he can be a top-30 player in the NBA. Let's see how he develops. But early signs are that he can be a lock-down defender that provides a solid offensive stat line.
By "star", perhaps you mean "a player to build a team around". THat's not F-Wagner. IT is still Suggs/Fults or bust here.

Half of a league in nba safety protocol....
7 Nets, 10 Bulls, 3 Lakers players
Hell, Ujiri tested positive after meeting with other nba exectuvies and Silver. This is turning into mess very fast.
