I don't want him

Intangibles are elite. The only downside is positional fit, but I would quickly take him at 5. Even with our youth at the guard spots, he would still be our top prospect.

Take him and trade Fultz.

We need a SG or SF, if we draft him at 5, who do we take at 8?

If barnes or kuminga r still there at 8, that would be an AMAZING Draft, however if those 2 r gone at 8 (VEry very likely), who do we take?

Id be thrilled if hes there at 5 and we take him, but i still feel like hes the cavs target at 3
I know everyone has them pegged for mobley (assuming green goes 2), but something about it doesnt seem right. I think the cavs take suggs at 3 and then try to trade Sexton, probably for another top 10 pick this year

NOW......If he is there at 5, i take him in a second and worry about fit later. Fultz\Cole\Rj havent shown enough to convince me to pass on a potential franchise PG, so i take him, let that play out for a year, unless we get a great offer for fultz, and then decide where to go.

Suggs can be a SG, and some think thats his better position, so that would take that need

But really, we need EVERTHING, yeah we need a SG\SF but that doesnt mean we are set at C, PF, PG, take best player available and forget about need

If he's there at 5 and we take him, that would make this a very successful draft in my eyes. That's without even talking about the 8th pick.

Big Suggs fan. Would be delighted to get him at 5.

My dream:
1 - Cunningham, the Pistons need to play this simple
2 - Mobely, the Rockets will take the player with arguably the highest upside of this draft
3 - Kuminga, the Cavs has no need for guards and sees the SF as having unlimited potential
4 - Suggs, the Raptors select the heir apparent to Lowry
5 - Green, the Magic patiently wait and get the player the teams needs by doing nothing.

Make my dream come true. PLEASE.

I kinda like that he made it to the championship game and lost, same with Kispert. That sting will put a chip on your shoulder

My number 1 choice outside of Cade... this thread is depressing if we don't get him. This should be a Kuminga hype thread so if we don't get him, it means Suggs fell to us. If we do get him, we are at least hyped. lol

IF the first 3 picks play out that way, i would do what i could to take that decision awy from the raptops. Id hope Weltman gets on the phone to his old team and throws around an extra pick or two and jump up to 4. Yeah we could wait it out, and hope they take suggs, but to me its worth trading them say 33 and the denver pick or 5 and a player not named cole, okeke or hampton

My hope would be to do it without giving up 8

If the raptors did like suggs better (hypothetically), it would make sense for them to take our offer and drop down 1 spot and get their guy while also getting something back, and in that scenario, i dont think we would have to give up both picks. With the cavs, i think we would

I was hoping we would do one for each of the realistic targets at #5 and 8.

Kuminga, Barnes, Bouk …

But I wanted to see how this worked. I was hoping it could truly stay positive and all hype. Some couldn’t stick with it for even damn page.
