It's true that, across the NBA, many front offices have grown increasingly involved in such choices, and fewer head coaches are now granted full agency to choose their assistants. Orlando president Jeff Weltman, for example, will play a significant role in hiring members of new head coach Jamahl Mosley's staff, sources told B/R.

That's interesting and a little concerning. However, Tibbetts sounds great. Another younger guy who helped coach Portland's backcourt? Yes, please. We're going young. We're going developmental. Love it.
So we have rookie/young coaches and rookie/young players... aaaaaannndd everyone is ok with this?? lolCZ Eddie wrote:Why is our Rookie head coach hiring Rookie assistant coaches (Becky)?
