Kuminga at 5 and Ziaire at 8. Ziaire shot poorly, just slightly better than Lamelo did in the NBL. I think he'll make a big jump like Lamelo did once he's in the NBA.

In the event of a trade up: Suggs

Barnes and Moody

Suggs instead of Barnes in the unlikelihood that Barnes goes in the top 4 and Suggs falls. I also think Sengun is in play at 8 if Suggs is the pick at 4.

Edit: Let me also say, this is what I THINK will happen not what I hope will happen.

Barnes and Moody. Barnes seems for sure unless Toronto passes on Suggs. I am sweating Moody at 8 as there's no clear indicator of who we taking with the 8th pick. I know Moody is under consideration at 8 but he's not the only one. I am hoping we take Moody at 8 please.

Stay: Barnes/Sengun

Unlikely scenario: Suggs/Sengun

Kuminga at 5 and Josh Giddey at 8.

I think the consensus is that the magic need scoring right?

We got screwed in the lotto, but the basketball gods will finally take pity on us and give us a little lucky and we get Suggs and Kuminga ( i dont care if you dont like him, theres been a top-5 all year, and this would be us getting 2 of those top 5)

More realistically i think we get barnes and Sengun, but im trying to stay positive

Trade #5 and #8 up to #4 and take Suggs.

Suggs at 5, Kispert at 8...if Suggs is gone, it's Kuminga (who will be fine).

Another idea is Mobley at 5 Williams at 8.

I think it’s going to be Kuminga and Moody. They’ll take a chance on Kuminga and grab Moody as more of a sure thing to contribute. With that said I won’t be surprised at all if it’s Barnes and 5 and Sengun, since Weltman is enamored more with front court guys since being hired here. I just hope we get one guy who’s got a penchant for scoring the ball.

I'm going Suggs at 5 and Moody at 8. I don't think the draft will go chalk and there will be the same names just shuffled around a bit.
