The last two games against the Bucks, Franz looked as good as Middleton. He's the number 2 guy on a championship team. Middleton had more assists but his teammates make shots.

It just hit me that Franz offensively is what I hoped Mario Hezonja to be. I really wish he would have improved because I would have liked to see him and Franz on the wing shooting 3s.

To me, he seems to be a player in the mold of Toni Kukoč, Dejan Bodiroga, Detlef Schrempf or Danny Granger. Hoping that Granger is his floor.

I said back in Nov that we have to stop limiting ourselves as to thinking how good he can be.

Bring him back...is he seriously not as good a " prospect" as the rest of these clowns coming into the league?

Looking back, it seems Franz does have some more to show in his bag

I heard someone say his floater game reminded them of Tony Parker.

I guess if no one wants to stop him he'll just continue on to the rim. 8-)

Ironically, while we’ve been able to see a lot of skills in his bag due to our lack of a primary ball handler, it also means we have yet to see things like his cutting abilities on consistent display.

I feel like that was one of the first things other teams figured out for the scouting report. Countering that turned out to be the first of many times he had to reach into his bag of tricks to add something new to his game.

This is new territory for us to have a rookie performing so well off the bat. Gotta be thankful for that.

It's a great stat but I noticed that his role looked reduced just with Ross coming back. I can't imagine what it's going to look like if we ever get fully healthy...

INSANE STAT: With the return of Magic players from injury and protocols, Franz will now average UNDEFINED seconds per touch since he will never touch the ball again.
