Then i said screw it and checked my e-mails and saw the Orlando Sentinel news alert about Suggs and Wagner and I could not have been more surprised.

Yes, yes, yeeeesssss. Woke up at 5am and it was so unexpected. Before draft i watched highlights of the top prospects with a bulls fan, it was clear the difference between cade, green , mobley , suggs and the others. No way tor would had done the classic magic move. I’m really happy

I thought there was a legitimate possibility that Toronto would take Barnes. I was happy they did if only so that I wouldn't have to read 40+ pages of lamentation when we selected Barnes. I always preferred Suggs to Barnes, but I wasn't averse to Barnes regardless. I'm sure he is going to be good. He is a much better prospect than was Anunoby and that has worked out just fine for Toronto. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Barnes was higher on our draft board as well, but that we were ready to take whoever Toronto didn't take between the two.
