I like it, has played well end of last year and start of this season. Timma time for last roster spot.

He appears to be a hard worker. You want those kinds of guys on the team to teach others that mindset.

And this could be the reason why the Magic traded their 2nd round pick (#33).

Nice. I like Iggy. May not be a bug time game changer but he does the right things and plays smart. Can’t be unhappy about that presence.

I think they did that because of all the young talent already and not wanting to commit another roster for a few years to youth.

I think he's the perfect candidate for a two-way considering his age/skillset. He jumped out to me while watching the game last night. I saw someone who could provide some rotational minutes for us.

Ignas averaged 11 && 5 while shooting 40% from 3 in the 8 games he played for us at the end of last year.

They have 1 open roster spot and 1 open two-way spot.

So they certainly *can* sign him, but I don't think they will. Robbins seems to think they're gonna leave the 15th spot open potentially for trade purposes (i.e. bringing on a bad contract with the Fournier TPE in exchange for a draft pick).

If they do sign someone for that 15th spot, I have to imagine it will be a non-guaranteed deal they can waive.

I love this move by Orlando. Brazdeikis gets another year to develop and then Orlando gets to look at the 2022/23 season where SG depth is probable. Locking him up now keeps another team from signing him to a 2W contract in the preseason. Smart move with little downside.

Orlando has a roster slot with Bacon being waived. Indeed Timma might be auditioning for a slot between 2W and final roster slot.

Does that mean Thornwell got the other 2W contract? I guess we will hear more very soon.
