Really excited to see this brand new team. It’s exciting. Lots of pieces here I really like. And this group doesn’t even have Isaac & Fultz.

This isn't the official lineup. Just my projection for now based on the tea leaves.

Is it too early for the " Wet for Chet " bandwagon? I mean, this is till the stage of hopes and dreams where we fight for the play-in right?

I believe Mosely said Suggs is on minutes restriction in this game.

“Jalen, we’re gonna try to sprinkle some minutes in and see how he feels as we continue to go,” Mosley said. “He’s looking better, he’s participated, so we’ll continue to move forward with that.”

“Oh yeah, I’m good now. Just had a little stomach virus, stomach flu,” Suggs said. “I got over it. Took a couple of days. With those kinds of things, you can’t really do much but rest, get fluids in you.

“I’m good now. I feel good. I got to be in the gym the past three days ... ran, got my feet under me, got to shoot. ... Ready to go.”

This guy Mosely really gives me an uneasy feeling. Like a guy who tends to be too cautious and too conservative in his way of life.

The Magic are like that in general tbh

I'm sure he'll monitor how he feels in game but if he's playing well, he should get more than intended.. hopefully..

That type of mentality never works in professional sports. If you can't press your players and exercise aggression at all times you're going to lose more than you win. I don't know much about Mosely other than him being from the Rick Carlisle coaching tree which is a good thing but Carlisle was not conservative or cautious at all as a coach.

I believe I heard it in the practice interview yesterday.

He talked about gradually ramping his minutes up.

I agree in theory, although if someone is still recovering from being sick I can see him not putting petal to the metal first game. Same reason with Cade is sitting with a playable ankle injury, just no real need to hurt hurt a rookie until they're good. But Mosley has at least shown some willingness to experiment with lineups in the preseason, I'm sure things will settle in once the team gets fully healthy.

I would not have predicted this opening night starting lineup one month ago. You know, Britton Johnsen once beat the odds to become the Magic's opening night starting small forward as a white guy rookie. Franz is in good company.
