It's okay. We won't mind if you make every sweater vest thread a replay from beating the Knicks.

FRANZ Dunk alone should have been worth 4 points. I was very happy with Cole Anthony pick last year and saw him a potential starter for the Magic years to come. Now look at him. Franz is our new Hedo w/ Defense.

What a special game by Franz Wanger. It has been awhile since I've been this satisfied by a rookie. It's not about the numbers as much as the poise that he plays with. He rarely forces things. He rarely makes a bad play. He plays within himself. He hits open shots. He can get into the paint and finish. He can make plays off the bounce. Every game he surprises me by how much is in his bag. He had this play in the first quarter where he was dribbling in traffic and made a defender miss with a behind the back dribble and finished it with a floater. Obviously, the dunk over the entire city of Minneapolis was new. He's a really skilled player who seems like he's gaining confidence every game.
Let's also not lose sight that Cole Anthony is at 19/7/6 on 45/45/81 splits almost 60% TS!

The last guard to average more than 20 ppg for a season was Steve Francis in '04-'05. Could the drought be over? I really just appreciate the pathos of Cole Anthony. I have longed for a guy with the fearlessness of a John Wick gun slinger. This team really struggled during the last rebuild to find someone to fill that role. I don't know if Anthony is truly good enough to be worthy of this kind of long term role. But through 7 games and his production, I'm very interested. And I appreciate that he's here to step up and take a stab at it.

I voted for Cole but I valued Franz’ game more. I feel like I owe Cole credit when he’s making shots, because I’m pretty unforgiving when he’s not. But Fran just plays smart and within himself and the offense and it’s so much more enjoyable to watch. Still, Cole can definitely put on a show and he did so in a big way in that 2nd half.

I voted for Cole, he facilitated very well down the stretch and for someone who gets called selfish, he stepped back and rolled with the hot hand in Franz closing the game tonight. If this is the version we are getting from Cole, there is no way I am sending him to the bench. It'll be Him and Fultz once he comes back and gets up to speed.

I voted reluctantly for Cole because he went super nova and got us the lead that got Minny out of sorts. But I so badly wanted to vote for Franz after that performance and the German Hammer.

Cole, but I am really surprised with Franz, now he is scoring like we always asked AG.

Cole's net rating is +5.6. That's really good for a losing team.

F-Wagner really looks like he will nicely complement Isaac.
Around the ASW, we fans get this rotation:
Anthony/Fultz
Suggs/Hampton
F-Wagner/Ross
Isaac/Okeke
Bamba/Carter
Looking at that bench compared to the mess of today, I am really excited. Heck: the deep bench is Carter-Williams, Harris, M-Wagner, and Lopez. That is real depth!

Had to go Franz because of how young and inexperienced he is to be putting on such a 2-way show. But Cole deserves it equally as much. Nice conundrum to have....

This was my vote as well. I cannot ignore the rebounds and assists.

Cole but, of course, nothing better than Franz just busting out and showing there's really nothing on the court that is out of his reach. He showed everything. I totally valued him at #8 as "glue guy, makes the right plays, good D, not really a shooter" but tonight we saw some STAR swagger. That dunk late in the 4th just showed the flair that great players have...he and Cole took over that game, had it well in hand (but not quite locked down 100%) and he showed that killer, nail in the coffin, instinct for a big play. Just awesome!
Really happy for Cole to be proving em wrong (me included)...keep it up. He may be the Alpha we've been praying for.

Cole and Franz did equally great offensively, but went with Cole as the +/- was the tiebreaker.

That’s the joke! Because Franz’s secondary stats were a bit light that game, they had to fill the graphic with his two steals, which isn’t that great. So why not acknowledge the biggest play of the game?? Just having fun with it.

I wanted to go with Mo Wagner.
Played 6 minutes and was +15
Talk about efficiency!
If we could only get that every night ...
