Went with Wendell but it was a tough call between him and Harris. Almost wanted to give it to Gary just in case this is his last big game for us before the deadline.

Mittens to Franz.

David Steele really busted out "that was soft as a Lamb?" I'm impressed.

It caught me off guard. Not sure I was expecting to hear that. I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry.

It is easily Ross here. That glowing +/- is stellar. No other player came anywhere near him in this game. He was 8-points better.
(( Just kidding ))

Now seriously, this is easily Carter. I can understand that Harris contributed to a showy come-back, but Orlando's dominance on the boards was fueled by a career high 18 boards from Carter. Plus: Harris was 6-15 this game. That is not vest worthy (or even vote worthy).

F-Wagner for the cummerbund. His defence was amazing. He always had his man in front of him; how many step back jumpers did the Pacers need to take. Many he looked like Pippen in this game.

Harris for the mittens. Simply becasue his FG% was not as awful as Anthony's. But players here had a great game even when the shot was failing.

In conclusion: second learning-game in a row for the Magic. I am so happy.

Oh wow, Carter's first vest. Well deserved, he's had a strong season.

WCJ is easily my choice.

I went with Harris becouse he showed more poise than WCJ. When Carter pouted, Harris was composed. Numbers say Carter but Harris gave us identity this game. At least thats how i feel.

Harris has been more aggressive the closer we get to the trade deadline. I think he knows that's his best chance at a contract next year.

Harris is a great vet but there's NO REASON for him to stay in ORL next year on a contract that makes sense for ORL's position in the NBA. He should grab ring chase or money chase...but neither makes sense in ORL. I really hope WeHam are working hard on getting something of value in a package with Harris. Letting him simply expire for cap space would be better, IMO, than bad money and late picks....but he would be the key (his salary) in helping a team shed money in return for bigger prizes.

Voted for Harris. Felt like his 3s were timely especially late.

And who knows if hes even on the team next week so wanted to give him love for a good comeback season hes had after starting off poor

I would be very suprised if we resign Harris given trade rumours and our strategy so far but we could be good next year if we try.
I wont even mention trading our 2022 frp which could give us a huge short term boost (which i dont think will happen).

Fultz/Harris (or Anthony/Suggs) Wagner/Isaac/Carter + Anthony/Suggs/Okeke/Wagner

We could be better than Cavaliers are this year. Then we could consolidate for some star talent.
Gary Harris is propably better than Johnny Davis will ever be. We should at least try to resign him. He seems like loyal dude. It wont be worse than this year and we can still go on a run.

Just to clarify my point...I like Harris and would be happy to have him next year on a team-friendly deal (maybe half of his current per year and just two years). I don't think he's in anyone's way and his game is team-supportive...I just don't see why he would choose to stay on as a reasonably-priced vet on a rebuilding team when he could do the same on a contender...I'd guess DEN would love him back. Wonder if he sold his house?

Only Detroid, San Antonio and us have money this offseason. We could be his best option if we are commited to winning next year.

He could go anywhere with MLE or even vets min (if he's made all the dough he needs). I don't see people moving out salary to chase Gary Harris but you never know...if we sign him to a team-friendly deal, he'd be easy to move later (mutually agreed upon plan) if he keeps his quality play up. Lots of possibilities, but I'd like to keep him too...if nothing great comes along.

Huh? He took 11 threes and made 6 of them. There really shouldn't be anyone still relying on FG% in the year 2022. His TS% for the game was .656, which is obviously very good and higher than WCJ's (.625) in this game.

I had Harris for the mittens. My point was that I personally cannot consider Harris for the vest in this game, given how dominant Carter was with his rebounding: that's an auto vest for me. I stand by that. And I also cannot discount that Harris went 0-4 with his 2-ball, and therefore have F-Wagner for the cummerbund.

Frankly, all five starters did something to contribute to the win, coupled to Ross, M-Wagner, and Okeke really chipping in on Harris' bench dominance. I have no complaint for this game or any players. I am just so happy.
