The skills contest being four rounds long and taking an hour is brutally bad.

Really hope things get better after this because the Skills competition and whatever this was with the Currys was an absolute dumpster fire.

Cole Anthony in The Dunk Contest is coming up.

All this these gimmicked changes the NBA has done the last few years has ruined the All Star weekend for me. The players picking the teams is just absolutely taking the fans out of it. The fan vote and coach vote with East v West worked. They didn’t need to turn it into a showcase of clowns, which is exactly what they’ve done.

The skills contest is horribly ill thought out. Who came up with the Giannis brothers (2 of which have no business participating in NBA all star activities by the way) vs Cleveland vs whoever the other team was needs to be fired. It was nonsensical and not entertaining. At least the Rising Stars thing having a set score kinda made sense.

Cole Anthony should be mic'd up.

Coles dunk wasn't great but I think he was penalised for the build up.
