The 2022 NBA Draft Thread Part 2

Post#1 » by PrimeThyme » Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:47 pm

NBA draft season is officially upon us. March Madness is close, our season approaches its end, and the lottery odds followed by the order will be set before we know it.

With that said, who is your number one prospect?

I can’t make a call just yet, but I’m most interested in Murray, Jabari and Chet, probably in that order.

Chet Holmgren is my No. 1 prospect.

After that it's murky, but there are a lot of guys I like.

if we miss out on the top guys i wouldn't mind taking a swing on sharpe....it's a homerun swing but he fits the description of the type of player we need....problem is it would be like drafting a kid straight out of high school....to me i think he declares, he's projected top 10 this draft so you should get the bag now because who knows what might happen next year

Yeah.. im down with Chet. Someone who can contribute while we build hos body up. That means itl be fine for a top pick like him to.be just backing up JI or WCJ. Start if one of them gets injured. You can't really question his talent and skill.

After him... it gets murky. I would go with Smith or maybe PB... depends how they do in the ncaat.

Then if we are unlucky enough to be out ofnthe top 3, id wait for the combine before choosing one of Ivey, Mathurin Davis or even Murray.

P.S. can anyone here confirm what his height really is and what position he plays in the league? I read some college posts that says he is 6'7 barefoot so like a chuma body?

Like I don't buy that Jabari is 6'11 because we have Kessler standing next to him at 7'0 and it shows that he is more than an inch shorter or something like that.

He looks like he's a legit 6'9" or 6'10" with his shoes on.

Murray a legit 6'10 with shoes? I thought people were already doubting if he really is 6'8 based on his listed height.. now he is 6'10?

* If you are talking about JAbari then yes I agree he probably is 6'10 with shoes at best BUT i am talking about Murray *

I have a feeling Jaden Hardy to be a better pro than prospect. The team that drafts him in the 7-12 range will be happy 2-3 years into his career.
Jett Howard, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, Jonathan Isaac, Wendell Carter Jr
Anthony Black, Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Joe Ingles, Chuma Okeke, Mo Wagner, Goga Bitadze LESSSGOOO!!!

I don't think so. The counting stats look great but he's shooting 35/27/88 and has a negative assist to turnover ratio. He also looks undersized.

Between Chet and Jabari for me. Chet has more versatility.

Nobody else seems promising or fits the team.

With how well both shoot, I don't think either will be a bust. The others, it's a coin flip.

I wouldnt pick him top 5 but I have a feeling that Jalen Duren is going to be good.

What are his real measurements? He's listed at 6'11" but looks like an undersized Dwight Howard... and Dwight was already undersized as a center with a less than optimal skillset.

Paolo‘a game is going to open up in the NBA. That is who we need. I hope he get him no matter the draft spot. Chet then Jabari and a 1b and 1c to Paolo but I think he is being slept on.
