Poll: Brazdeikis or Hampton ?

Brazdeikis is taking his minutes-opportunity by the Horn. By the eye-test, he resembles an actual NBA player. Hampton has not performed as a starter, but off of the bench, he does seem to offer "something".

If Management needs to decide between these two players, for example as a 3rd-string SG, who should get the nod?

I'm not sold on RJ... Between the 2, Iggy at least looks like he can be solid off the bench.

But I would rather give Moe Wagner more minutes over both of them

Lol... Iggy already hit his ceiling. RJ is still unknown whether bust starter bench etc

They're both basically irrelevant, but I'd like to think RJ is still a "name" and could maybe have some trade value (added in to a package) based on some other team thinking they could do something with his perceived upside...and they might be right. He's very frustrating.

I'm not a fan of Iggy, but he is 2 years younger than RJ. But whenever Iggy has played, he has been okay. Whether he has reached his ceiling or not, you can't fault him for giving his best.

RJ needs to be alot better than Iggy, and has he done that? This season he has seen plenty of mins, and how often has he actually stepped up and said I'm going to make this count?

Cannady :wink: that would be my choice!

I'm torn tbh I think I'll sway slightly to RJ even though he hasn't been good, just for the slight upside. Iggy has had a good few games recently so I can understand why he'd be preferred if we were forced to decide.

I think you have this backwards, RJ is 2 years younger than Iggy.
RJ = 21
Iggy = 23

Yeh sorry about that, RJ is indeed younger.

This poll really needs a "None of the above" option.

I would choose Hampton over Brazdeikis if I had to pick one, but neither guy appears to have a huge amount of upside or anything like that.

That said, neither guy makes much money, so I don't have a problem with either of them returning next year as bottom of the roster third stringers like Moritz.

Moritz Wagner is clearly above RJ, so RJ is pretty much part of those 3rd stringers

I think they're all pretty clearly third stringers when everyone is healthy and playing.

G: Fultz, Vet FA, Cannady?
G: Suggs, Harris?, Hampton
F: F. Wagner, Okeke, Brazdeikis
F: 1st Round Pick, Isaac, M. Wagner
C: Carter, Bamba?, 2nd Round Pick

Something like this for next season if they dump Cole?

I quite like Mo Wagner off the bench. He is so underrated, but I feel that out of all the bench guys, he was one of the standouts. Okay that's not saying much, vs the rest of the bench, but he has played well..

Iggy has one good game and people want to forget that for the entire season, hes been referred to as one of the worst players in the NBA by this board (and i will continue to say it)?
Like is everyone forgetting how bad the second unit has been for us all year, i mean wheres the charts that showed how insanely bad the backups were compared to the starters, and our starters arent exactly all stars.

I hope that most of these bench guys are gone next year. MoW, Iggy, admiral etc, all are terrible

Id keep Hampton because hes young and athletic and has shown a huge alot of improvement in his 3pt shooting, so theres hope, but not to high on him either

First as othera have said, RJ is younger than Iggy not the other way around

Second, Iggy sucked the whole season. We saw that. Guy is a chucker when he plays. Now comparing who sucked more betweem him and RJ is a debate.

Third, this is RJs 2nd season.. he had promise in his rookie year, im still giving him a chance om what he can do next season. Iggy... what you see is what he is probably.

We already know Brazdeikis is not an NBA player with any real upside, despite his recent "hot streak."

Hampton doesn't look like an NBA player either, but he's still got another year of "he's really young" to draw on. He just doesn't do anything. He should rebound, but he really doesn't. He should be a problem in transition or any time he gets a head of steam, but he really isn't. He's a good athlete but you'd never know it because he rarely displays it. It's been a disastrous season for him, but he gets one more year in my opinion.

Easily Hampton, I'm kind of out on RJ but Iggy is terrible.

I feel like theres still an NBA player inside RJ, he just plays really dumb and lacks feel of the game. But he still has potential.

He did have a game this year where he locked up Donovan Mitchell.

Third stringers are practice squad guys. Basically their role is to test the starters in between games,.
