Hi everyone,

I'm going to do a poll about every player on the roster over the next few weeks leading into the draft lotto. Looking to get some general thoughts on what the Magic should do with each player moving forward.

We'll go from the guys who played the least to the guys who played the most.

Devin Cannady can shoot.

He's made 21-53 of his career NBA 3PT attempts (.396) and 202-519 of his career NBAGL 3PT attempts (.389).

The problem is he really can't do anything else at an acceptable level.

I would bring him to training camp, but if there's a better option for the bottom of the roster I'd be fine cutting him loose.

Well he certainly isn't shy about shooting the ball, but hey, he shot threes at 40.5%, even if he couldn't make a shot inside the arc to save his life. That's something that other fringe guys we've had off and on can't say, like Jeff Dowtin, Mychal Mulder, Admiral Schofield. Even after the hot streak from Brazdiekis to end the season, that still only brought him up to 31%. In any event, I suppose he's a guy you can have at the end of your bench that can come in for emergencies and be a threat that the defense can't just ignore, which isn't the absolute worst thing to have. But ultimately I think that's almost certainly his ceiling.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

If there isn't a better option for the end of the bench, then we've done something wrong. He shouldn't even be a candidate for a two-way slot.

This is a very easy keep. He’s cheap. He’s our best 3-point shooter on a team that desperately needs to improve perimeter shooting. I don’t care about his other skills when he’s 3rd string.

He would’ve been here either way had he not had the injury.
We were tanking, so of course Mosley was having him run Point too much. He needs to be off the ball and spreading the floor.

He's partially-Guaranteed for next season.

I'd bring him to Camp and see what happens.

Canady is a good shooter and hard worker. Someone who would be good to have as a 14th or 15th man.

Bye Bye Ross, Bye Bye Harris. For Cannady's price tag. Sure.

If we say Bye Bye to Cole or RJ, then definitely yes. But let's be clear. He's nothing more than a deep bench player.

Why can’t he turn into a Seth Curry type player? I can see it in 4 years.
