Blazers and Magic trade idea (Isaac and picks for Simons, picks and more)

Trying to gauge value of Isaac and Bamba as well as interest in Anfernee Simons.
Orlando trades:
Bamba
Isaac
22 FRP if lands 3-4
Portland trades:
22 FRP (If outside the top 4)
S&T Anfernee Simons - 4 for 80-90 mil
Eric Bledsoe (partially guaranteed and expiring)
Keon Johnson
Didi Lazada
Greg Brown III
Bucks 25 FRP
How far off is this trade in Magic fans eyes? What would it take to move off Bamba, Isaac and the FRP?
I feel like Dame, Hart, Isaac, Paolo, Bamba could be interesting.
Also Magic could move Anthony or Suggs and take a flyer on someone like Sharpe.
Suggs, Simons, Sharpe, Wagner, Carter is a solid young core.
Also with trading Anthony, Fultz and Ross you could definitely trade into the mid to late first round and fill out the roster more. Could even dump Suggs also and let Simons run the point then slide Sharpe to the 2 and Wagner to the 3. And most likely have 1-2 FRP’s this year and potentially additional future 1st’s.
What’s your thoughts? I don’t follow the Magic much so sorry if this is egregious.

This trade isn't possible since Bamba is FA ( restricted) and he would have to be sign& traded in separated trade.

First off.... Franz is our SF. He got that spot unless a superstar wing like Ingram comes along. You put him in like PF now... I dunno if his body can take it.
Second - yeah like pepe said, we can't trade Mo unless its a sign and trade so itl have to be another transaction?
Third - Yeah A lot like Simmons here.. dunno.about his no D all O kind of play when we already have Cole but whatever..

That’s a lot to give up for, basically, POR agreeing not to match an overpay for Simons. I like Simons but ORL doesn’t need to pay anything (or take on bad money) to “get off” Isaac & RFA Bamba. The pick swap alone is too much, imo.

A healthy Isaac has just as much value as Simons. People come here every couple of weeks and try to make trades for him. Everyone wants to buy low on Isaac.

I like the framework of the deal giving Portland a few picks higher in this draft + Isaac and filler.
I just don’t believe Portland is going to move him after trading CJ. Why? I don’t know. Lillard should probably jump ship anyway.

no. Orlando could just offer a big deal to Simons and dare portland to match. no reason to give up pick for it.

Simons wouldn't want to come here. If Harris comes back we'll have 7 guards. We need to clear out some players.
Sidenote is only one of those guards have over a 6'8" wingspan. Only Ross can play SF and he isn't a good defender. The roster is flawed

It would be great to see the kid from Altamonte in Orlando blue.

Simons is from Orlando... He is the only player that I have high confidence in wanting to come here, but I agree with the logjam at guard.

This is absolutely ridiculous.
He is literally named after the Magic.

Maybe they should wear their wingspan instead of uniform numbers. You're overselling one thing...I guess Suggs' mediocre wingspan is what limits his dunking and defensive ability?
If Simons were to come here with a fresh $20m contract, he'd well believe he's stepping all over the mediocre hierarchy in place...he'd come here to be THE star. If he didn't believe it, he wouldn't be commanding that kind of deal. He'd be the prodigal son returning to save his namesake's troubled franchise.

This trade can't really happen. SO much depends on who's available at picks 3 or 4, who's available with the Por pick, and that's not to mention not being able to actually trade a few of those players due to FA. It's also likely contingent on the Magic wanting to give Simons a max contract which I doubt is the case. Personally, I wouldn't even consider this deal but I'm not the biggest Simons fan.

Could, theoretically, two teams agree not to match offers from one another on RFA's? not trying to game the system-obviously, players and agents would have to agree to terms before signing...is that something that could be permissible? I'd like Simons at $20m and they'd probably like Bamba at $10m-$12m. Assuming the players agreed, could you SnT Bamba and say, the DEN or CHI 1st for Hart (due to their cap) and then they bless us signing Simons as an RFA?
Sounds illegal, although I'm not sure who's harmed if all parties agree.

How is that different from a sign and trade?

Orlando isn't even allowed to talk to Simons until about a week after the draft, so you can't have these assurances.

POR fan here.
No way POR includes a lotto pick in this deal.
I’d drive him to the airport for JI and a FRP

Yeah bad return all around. No way Magic fans trade down outside the top 3 ( if we do get top 3 ).
