I don't know all the technicals or if its possible to do a trade, but I am curious how much his value has gone up in the mind of Magic fans.

Is this unexpected pick which played like a stud his rookie year and honestly was severely underrated, now untouchable? Or would you unload him to land 2, top 5s in this draft?

Would I unload him to have Chet and Jabari. The answer is prolly yes. Once we start getting to Paolo then the answer gets harder

Anything after 2, probably not. Draft picks lose their value once someone is picked so there's no guarantee any of these guys would do better than Franz, and Franz has been impressive. On the flip side, it all matters how you value the ceilings of these guys.

Its kinda like winning a 1m lotto ( franz ) and investong it all in crypto ( another top 5 pick) even though we already have an investment on it ( #1 pick )

There is literally no trade offer Orlando management would consider. Seriously: Antetokounmpo for F-Wagner would not be considered. (F-Wagner's youth and contract means Orlando would not want a super-max superstar on the roster for F-Wagner).

Depends if I’m convinced the players available at that pick will be better.

There are probably less than 5 players untouchable in the league. Franz is certainly not one of them.

Okey. Let's pump up a breaks. Somebody offers you GIannis for 1st overall and Franz Wagner there are few things that needed to be done
1) mental evaluation of Bucks GM
2) keeping police department on streets of Milwaukee to prevent riots once news is out
3) keeping police department on streets of Orlando if Weltman turns off that type of deal

You can literally find 3 bench players ,1 nba starter and Giannis and make it to second round of playoffs , maybe even finals, or win whole thing.
I'm willing to bet that Iwundu, DJ Augustin, Giannis, Mortiz Wagner and Zimmerman starting 5 would won 48 games on will power of Giannis alone.

I love Franz.... But Giannis or Luka are types of stars you trade whole team, arena and mascot for. Period.

There isn't such thing as untouchable player on 22-60 team. Franz is cool, i would never trade him for pick in bad draft. I would not trade him for C level star like Ibaka trade. I would not dump him in stupid trade. But once you are talking about top 10 nba players...Come on.
