Also, warning, this thread will contain spoilers. It is impossible to mod spoiler leaks on draft night so if you are interested in a non-spoiler thread, make your own. I made one last year but 50% of the posters in that thread spoiled anyway so I found it a fruitless endeavor.

Next 24 hours should be fun!

If Jabari/Chet are the picks, I expect these next couple years to be extremely divisive on this board.

Both guys need time to develop to reach their #1 pick potential, and this board has shown an unwillingness to let that happen with the majority of the young guys we have drafted here over the years.

Regardless, this is a huge, monumental, moment for our franchise. We can’t get this one wrong.

I'm going to make myself scarce tomorrow. This is my Magic community, but too many people ruin the draft for me and I want to experience it the way I did many years ago. I don't have any interest in finding out the results a few minutes before they are actually announced.

I’m hoping for a wild card pick. Dyson Daniels #1!

Good on ya. I almost thought about not watching the draft at all and then coming back and catching up, but I feel like I may be spoiled extremely early regardless.

Jerami Grant going to Portland already. Will they have the cap room left to sign Beal/Ayton if they get the chance?

And what player is in the draft that would not be a divisive choice?

Remember when they said Woj/Shams would stop spoiling everything so we could enjoy the draft.

Then all they did was change the verb they used in their spoilers… thanks for the effort.

Anyway. There’s something a little more relaxing this year knowing there’s no one I’m really against drafting. Can make an argument for any of the 3. More curious what’ll happen with our 2nds (lol we all know).

I don't think Howard wants that. Usually very lenient on draft night.

It is what it is. I'll probably be posting updates too if I'm around but I'll use them inside of the spoiler tag so it's safe.

no offense, but thats crap. and ive been suspended off the general board for like 5 years because i posted that i would trust a coaches opinion of the position a player should play more than a random poster. still cant post there, whatever. i just avoid that board now

What does that have to do with posting spoilers? lol. But yeah, I mean the GB is a diff story altogether. Although that was also when tsherkin would ban anyone that said anything slightly controversial so I'm pretty sure you could get that reversed easily with HM.

Are there any tricks to make this forum software take me right to the latest unread post in a given thread, like this one?
I dislike needing to scroll past dozens of posts I've already read, to find the newest one.

First off, don't let me down Magic fans. I expect at least 50 pages of rehashing conflicting, fake and utterly laughable sources before we even make our 1st pick.

Second, its fine to post spoilers. I mean most of us probably will check the page to see who wr picked when pick #4 is on the clock.

No Chrome, YouTube, Social media until after our pick is announced. I'd even suggest squinting your eyes and covering your ears until Silver hits the podium to annouce.. gotta avoid those little Twitter announcements and commentators talking about sources while the magic are on the clock
