You can clearly see from his body language that he doesn't want to be in Orlando.
He doesn't smile in Interviews or on pictures.
Not a good move from the FO to draft someone who doesn't want to play for the Magic.
Smith should be the pick.

Not everyone is all smiles all the time. If you watch alot or enough of him you'll see that's not his personality. He said on draft night he was overly emotional.
I think you are looking too deep to find something that isn't there

He had an after-the-draft party and we brought him here the next day. I don't understand why we wouldn't give him a day off before we had him do a photo shoot, a podcast, and a press conference.
The poor guy looked exhausted. A lot of teams did their press conferences on Saturday.
He'll probably be a different person in interviews after resting.

Guess what, he doesn't get to pick. He'll love it here as long as he and the team bring success together.

Ross didn't look like he wanted to be traded here and yesterday on his podcast he was saying that Orlando will always be his home now. Him and his family love it here.

He can say what he wants.
Everybody knows it's not the truth.

I replied in the speculation thread but look at his Instagram he is a person that doesn’t smile much in general.
I have a feeling for the next few years this is going to be a narrative about him, some of you guys assume too much about our players based on face value. We don’t know these guys so let’s just stop assuming whether they want to be here or not…

He was obviously tired in his interviews. He kept saying, you know a lot. If you look at other interviews and he doesn't sound like that. I get the feeling we rushed him in Friday so we could get everything done and have the weekend off.

He was drafted #1, will get tons of money, will start on day 1, and will be able to do whatever he wants on offense. I’m sorry if this situation is not good enough for him.

Exactly Rob, can you imagine the week he and most of the top prospects had? Being 18-21 and having to suddenly workout loads, travel, do media appearances, party and be social with a bunch of people you’re likely meeting for the first time would be exhausting for a 30 year old let alone a young player.

He had an after-the-draft party scheduled too. He was giving a shout-out on IG to the designer of the clothes he wore to the party. When he got off the plane he had had hoodie wrapped around his head like he'd been trying to sleep. Then it was probably 120 degrees on the concrete airport runway.

On top of that, he really didn't know he was going to be #1...his head is still probably spinning...joyfully, I would imagine. These are 19 year olds on top of all the craziness, we have to remember that. He's probably been googling HOU club scene for weeks.

I would like to see your reactions when you're being picked number 1 in the draft of the most important basketball league in the world...You would probably **** your pants.
Are you a rockets fan man?
Come on, get a life. Enjoy the moment dude, this thread is pathetic.
