He got too many minutes, that's for sure

That's nice. Hopefully he can develop into a good and useful rotation player.

He'd probably need us a 2nd round pick from a contender\mid level team, so in other words, a 2029 2nd round pick and cash

at this point with no good teams having money in cap left ..may have to be buy out were he gives 2-3 mill back enough for magic to buy a 2nd if they want..and he goes to team he wants on min vet contract to play for new deal

That would be great, you think srp is enough to move him ? :P Consolidation trade is propably not in the books this year, with outside chance we trade for Durant. I wonder who could be next years target ? Lillard, Beal, Booker, Mitchell ? Lillard and Mitchell seem the most realistic. It would be great if Isaac stayed healthy. We would have perfect trade chip. Maybe Bamba shows more from the bench. Fultz and Anthony are other spare pieces. Its in our interest to be competetive next year.

I expect us to consolidate some of our young guys for another reclamation project.

Glad they make it official. So I assume its a regular contract and not a 2 way type contract. So far this looks like a fantastic draft pick, just a much needed role player that camps out at the 3pt line waiting for passes/stretching the floor, good cutter, essentially a needed finisher. Guess things don't always flatten out lol.

He seems like an NBA player, a good rotation shooter. Good signing

Very encouraged by how he has shot the ball in the Summer league.

The signing might be the precursor of the next move... which hopefully includes Ross for a player cut and a draft pick. Maybe we've been holding him for being a part of a larger trade... like fascilitating a Nets trade.

Glad to see that it should be a multi-year deal. Low key hoping it's a 4 year deal with options built in.

Game 1 was great, but I knew he wouldn't follow up on that performance.

That said, he can take Hampton's spot. Ready to waive that guy.

2-13 from 3 in the last 2 games. Sigh. He sparked unexpected hope after game 1. Too good to be true.

I've said it after game 1, shooters looks good when shots go in, but those hot games are not best games to judge them ( ofc, if you are not Klay Thompson or Ray Allen so every night is hot night ).

He was mediocre to poor college player and it's expected that he will spent majority of time in G league. Maybe he can develop his game more . I don't know, to me, and i've said it after draft, he should have been in college for at least 1-2 more years. There is clear problem when you are getting 25-30 mpg and in 1/3rd of games you have 0 assists or less than 2 rebounds.

To me, electing to go to a draft, long term, isn't smartest move. But time will tell.

Is this a two year deal, or did Orlando use some of the MLE to go for 3 or 4 years here?
