poll: where are you on the 27.5 over under Wins total
Many betting lines have Orlando's wins total at 27.5. Given the Magic's current roster, are you bearish or bullish on that betting line?
I have some slippage on this to balance the poll line (1 win above and one below the 27/28 balance).
30 or above
26-29
25 or below

Under.
They could *maybe* go over if they have some insanely good injury fortune like they did Clifford's first season when the top 6 players in the rotation all played at least 75 games, but I'm expecting a normal amount of injuries and I expect them to not play as competitively as possible over the last 20 odd games if they're in a position to finish bottom 4.

Thats a bold prediction. There is a world where our reserves could win more than 27 if everyone is healthy. Lets say
Anthony/Harris/Okeke/Isaac/Bamba
Harris and Isaac were already playing heavy minutes on playoff teams winning 40+. Anthony and Bamba were starters last year and this year will be better. Okeke is solid rotation piece if his shot is back.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Who are our rotation players?
Fultz, Cole
Suggs, Harris
Franz, Okeke
Paolo, Isaac
Wendell, Bamba
Non-rotation players
RJ, Moe, Houstan, Ross, Cannady.
I think we're able to sustain an injury and not be affected as much as last season. We have 10 solid rotational players and many coaches prefer a nine man rotation. Ross could move into rotation if any player goes out with an injury.

Eight more wins than last year isn't a crazy projection.
If we were returning the exact same players and they played the exact same number of games, I could see a three- to four-game improvement with another year of seasoning and understanding of Coach Mosley's system.
But when you consider the additions of Paulo and Fultz and potentially JI? Yeah, I'm expecting 30 wins at a minimum.

Re: poll: where are you on the 27.5 over under Wins total
I see our floor for a relatively healthy season around 30-35.
The Homer in me sees a scenario where several guys have improvements and somebody makes a big stride and we're closer to 44-48+ wins.
I see a 42-42 record as a very realistic goal.
I'm already so sick of hearing about how all of the east got better. On paper maybe an argument can be made for some of the east teams improving their rosters but I would say it's just as easy to argue that no team in the league has added more to there team from last year other than clippers and that's cause they should be getting kawhi and pg13 back.
We've all seen plenty of occasions where team builds supposed super team with a few Allstars and it doesn't work. For whatever reason sometimes good players don't always mesh. Could totally be the case in orlando next season. But just as easily could be the case with plenty of other east teams. Thing is the east teams primarily fill there schedules against other east teams. Even if they have all gotten better there's still 1 loser and 1 winner in every game. Some of you guys portray the eastern conference as 8 or 9 teams that'll win 60+ games and the rest will be lucky to win 20.
I'm ok with the low expectations for the Magic from the media and the outside. I'm not ok with the Magic fanbase having the same low expectations. We gotta believe in magic!

If we can somehow actually shoot the ball from 3 and stay relatively healthy i think 32-35 is realistic.

24-32 win sounds about right.

That's an average of 28, I think you accidentally made a positive post

Easy over for me, 32-36 with a an outside shot at over 500.

but 32 after we use all our assets on veterans, with everyone playing 82 games and on the last game of the season against tanking team.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Re: poll: where are you on the 27.5 over under Wins total
I'm going over, but that's assuming relatively good health for a change (specifically Fultz). We've had really bad luck with injuries, so hoping our key players stay healthy all year. This is also assuming JI is out though. I'm not factoring him in at all, lol.

I suppose I might be the only guy here who sees us making the play-in or better this upcoming season? Yes, we will win over 30 games next year.

Over for sure (barring injury). If Franz/Paolo/WCj/Fultz miss significant time, then all bets are off. I'm thinking 35.

My guy says 28-30. The wildcard is how good of a scorer can Paolo be in year one.

I chose push, as I think our weakest area will be our guards and efficient offense. not a believer in Fultz being more than average and we need to see improved shooting from Suggs, though he already brings great defense.

A couple weeks until the schedule is released. Anyone want to guess how many times we’ll be nationally televised? I’m gonna say 5. No Xmas game, but maybe MLK day.
