Ideal Minutes Per Game

Post#1 » by mattdelray1220 » Sat Aug 20, 2022 3:25 pm

Anthony - 28 minutes
Suggs - 26 minutes
Wagner - 32 minutes
PB - 30 minutes
Carter - 30 minutes

Fultz - 20 minutes
Harris - 18 minutes
Ross - 14 minutes
Isaac - 24 minutes
Bamba - 18 minutes

My thoughts:

- We will start with a 10 man rotation. This being it.
- I can definitely see Fultz starting or maybe Harris over Suggs.
- I think RJ & Chuma are odd men out initially. I do however see a scenario where Ross is moved to open up minutes for one of them.
- If for some reason we are competitive and healthy I can see a 9 man rotation.
- The squad that ends the game may be different than the team that started for sure.

We should play all 15 guys and give them 16 minutes a night. Or make 3 starting lines, rotate each one using only 2 starting line a game, first group gets 36 minutes and the second group gets 12 minutes (or 24 minute each lineup). Rotate throughout the year, and therefore everyone get the same minutes and development time.

Go Magic, Go Dwight, Go Vuc, Go Paolo, Go Keegan :)

Suggs starts becouse he is our point of attack defender, much lower value from the bench
Harris starts becouse he is best fit next to Suggs, but also Wagner and Banchero. Placeholder in the starting lineup for someone like Poole.
Froncourt is set, Banchero 28 becouse of his conditioning and sweating.
Fultz 22 minutes to dominate benches. No pressure to space the floor for our core.
Anthony will have more freedom offensively next to limited ball handlers like Bamba, Okeke and Isaac.
Okeke could take minutes from Bamba to form some interesting small ball lineups.
Isaac two stints for 8 minutes.
Bamba minutes are not guaranteed, Mo Wagner waiting in shadows.

Suggs - 28 minutes
Harris - 28 minutes
Wagner - 31 minutes
Banchero - 28 minutes
Carter - 30 minutes

Fultz - 22 minutes
Anthony - 18 minutes
Okeke - 25 minutes
Isaac - 16 minutes
Bamba - 14 minutes
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
