Last season, we had a grainy 5-second video of Fultz and I remember someone here saying they wanted to cry because his shot looked so bad.

This is why Markelle said "4th seed"!

Also remember when MCW said JI would average 20 & 9 on Twitter right before he said Orlando won draft lottery! :o

I wonder if we'll ever actually know what happened to Isaac's knee. The amount of time he missed due to an ACL tear was unprecedented. Either there was more than an ACL tear or something happened in the rehab. I remember him talking on a podcast with Howard Beck in 2021 that Christmas Day was a realistic expectation for his return. That timeline came and went and then some. The nebulous mystery and time missed due to his injury reminds me a lot of the Grant Hill ankle debacle back in the early 2000's. At that time, we at least had a good reason for what happened and what took so long for his recovery.

I'm happy for him and the team. It's hard to watch a guy that gets injured a lot though, I'm always worried.

If he's good to go...imagine adding the equivalent of two top 10 picks in one off-season (Isaac and PB). I would honestly rate JI's "healthy" value as well within a typical top 5-10 pick...so him and Banchero is a REALLY big offseason. He was crushing in the bubble...easy to forget who he was looking like...not some benchwarmer - if he's ready. The video doesn't look like they're shying away from cutting and bumping...very good sign.

Cool video. It will be nice to see him play around 20 games this season again per usual.

Perhaps - just perhaps they purposely let him rehab so long to purposely tank

Obviously 5-on-5 full court is the only test that matters. We'll see.

Please don't remind me of that timeline. That was brutal as hell. Hill going through his ankle crisis that plus nearly dying at that was a bad time for him. Thankfully he recovered. As for the business end, a disastrous deal for the Magic. In spite of T-Mac's efforts he too eventually request to be traded. Anyways, it's old news.

As for JI, I hope that his recovery continues. The only expectations I have for him is that he finds his way back in the game as he's been out two years. Take it slow and find his way one game at a time.

He hurt the same knee twice though right? January of that year and then again in August or whatever, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Hey, I’ll take 20 games. That’s more than we had the last 2 years.

I thought it was the other knee. But I could be wrong. I know he had a hamstring injury that kept him from getting into game shape.
