He is a good college player. As a NBA player?? Also, watch his games.. there are a lot of times where the refs never calls his push offs that is why he gets a lot of offensive boards. Do you think that won't get called in the league?
I've watched him a bunch. He gets grabbed alot too. College whistles are typically way more strict then the NBA. Im not saying take him in the top 10 but if he's still on the board with a 2nd round pick Id absolutely take a shot. He shot like 70% from the line. So maybe theres a chance he can at least shoot from mid range. Could he be a poor man Bam Adebayo? Maybe not but Id roll the dice with a later pick.

Imo he is underrated in draft circles.
Very unselfish, plays under control.
Defense, 3pt shooting.
Imo his game is best suited for the NBA.

I’m with you, he’s gonna blow up in the league. Probably not star level, but high impact support player like Malcolm Brogdon or similar.

He can play with Fultz and Suggs.

After Wemby, Scoot and Miller I’d rank a package of Hendricks + Wallace as my next favourite draft result.

I can't decide between Hendricks and Walker.
I like both players.

I heard some people comparing Scoot to Bledsoe. It's also looking more likely he'll be there at 3.

Top 3 is locked.

1. Victor
2./3. Scoot
3. /2. Miller.

I believe we will select in that order if we get top 3.

If we land 4th, it seems wide open? Who do we take if we get the 4th pick?

Most are saying that Amen Thompson will go 4, and then there's a little drop off. The Thompson twins scare me because they're older and don't shoot well.

That will be a sad day once again for Magic fans, I would have to be hoping for a Suggs moment where the top 3 somehow pass up on Miller because of his issues and falls to us at 4 and we grab him. I honestly don't want to think of it as a possibility at the moment

I have been following Amen 2 + years and always thought he would be the dream pick. But, I’m not as high on the twins anymore.

Chicken and egg scenario. He gets grabbed because he pushes a lot too.

Ncaa is stricter? Have you watched the games? Esp TENN VS DUKE? If that was nba refs you can bet ejections, technicals and the full 15man roster would be playing..

Put it this way, if a superstar lile D12 gets called for pushes, what makes a SRP undersized C gets away with it?

BAM can get up there and is athletic. Oscar to me, if he cant use his body and hands to push guys away is like Hansborough or Garza, big bodied great college players... no real place in the league now.

But hey i could be wrong.

Don't overthink it. Unless there is a great injury.. its like the past drafts... a top1 or 2 pic will suddenly slide down because of someone playing out of his mind or he had a bad stretch.

This is just the *people* aka handlers draft sites agents hangersn etc throwing ish up to push their guy or generate clickbait.

Scoot is still #2 to everyone. Unless between now and then he pulls a JA

Also anyone watching Baylor right now? Future Magician George is playing.

Its kinda pathetic that the entire team.only has 2 assists and all by 1 player, George himself. Are they all auditioning for the NBA?

Also, this is what i mean by college refs, i saw 2 plays where George went up and string to the rim, bodies get hit in the air and he we went down.. no call.

You can bet in the nba with that mich contact there will.be whistles and stoppage of plays

I think Miller played well enough to be in the conversation for the #2 pick. I think it'll just depend on who's drafting at 2.

For example, Charlotte, Detroit, and Portland likely would take Miller over Scoot. Houston, San Antonio, and Orlando likely take Scoot at 2.

Just my opinion though.

There is some merit to what you say.. but if they really want Miller, they would trade down and acquire additional asset. I mean... The talent of Scoot.. if you bypass that kind of potential star talent you would get fired from all 30 organizations.

I think the majority of teams are taking Miller at 2 right now. Scoot had a so so season, and Miller broke out.

Draftnet and Tankathon, depending on which team has the pick have Miller at 2 now.
