Orlando is currently 3rd in the league in FT attempts per game
Orlando is currently 6th in the league in made FTs per game
Orlando is currently 6th in the league in defensive rebounds per game
Orlando is currently 7th in the league in total rebounds per game
Orlando is currently co-8th in the league in total blocks per game

Orlando is currently 7th in the league in lowest total rebounds surrendered per game
Orlando is currently 4th in the league in lowest total blocks surrendered per game

And a really, really weird stat: Orlando is currently 7th in the league in opponent FT% (how is that on Orlando?)

I couldn’t be happier with the fta stat. Feels like we have been dead last or near it every single year since Dwight left.

Those are good numbers. I am sure we have some posters that will arrive soon to tell us none of it matters.

I feel like we give up a ton of second chance opportunities so interesting to see the number on the rebounds given up. Paolo is aggressive getting to the line and seems guys are attacking the paint so good to see for a young team getting FT opportunities.

Totally agree. I'm shocked. Shows there are rebounds and rebounds.

You can largely thank Vucevic and his horrific FT rate for the majority of that

It matters but we won't 3rd in free throw attempts all season. Our average is up because of the terrible Golden State Warriors defense giving us 46 of them in one game.

Orlando was 5th going in to the game though.

What I see from that is the disparity between free throws attempted and free throws made. So many easy points left off the scoreboard.

Banchero and Bol additions have made a big difference in some key stats our team have lagged in for years. Those FTA's are such a welcome sight.

I feel like we struck gold twice with them 2, they both seem like the real deal.

Suggs and Anthony are also lunch-pailing in 4 FTa per game each.

Banchero has the makings of becoming a superstar. Glad as hell we didn't roll the dice on Chet. He is good, but he is not going to be any superstar level player. Poorzingus at best which to me is doubtful.
