Physical bigs are really important in our schemes. We play a lot of hand offs, we like to use a lot of screens. We were ok with Carter, we were **** without both Carter and MWagner and we are good with MWagner. WCJ is obviously better than MWagner, but he doesnt provide energy, he gets easly frustrated. I think having Suggs in the starting lineup and MWagner from the bench gives both units enough boost. I worry starting unit with Carter instead of MWagner and without Suggs could look a little bit flat.

As good as Mo and Moe have been, WCJ is clearly the better player. If healthy, he’s a top 15 center in this league.

Statistically, Carter was the Magic's best player by a wide margin before he got injured.

I'm thrilled he's back and hoping he can get back to his old form quickly.

I am a very big fan of Carter, and i see him as a core member unlike some posters, but i worry that starting unit including Bol, Banchero, Wagner and Carter have too many introvertic people. If Franz is your most energetic and out going dude there is something wrong

100% agree. Moe lately has been our only credible screener and it's been an issue. Franz is young and not the broadest guy, more of a finesse forward, but his screens and contests for rebounds are pretty milquetoast stuff.

Carter being back will hopefully let us know if f Fultz can now run the PnR because with these crappy screens the results are pretty lukewarm.

Bol is not in finishing lineups lately. I think its a matter of time and players returning from injuries to move him to the bench.

I think they like the tall lineups. Fultz/Wagner/Banchero/Bol/WCJ possibly.

Bol usually 50/50 finishes games depending on the matchups but ever since he was inserted in the starting lineup, it's been like that so I don't think it's a precursor.

Man, it would be really disappointing to move away from starting Bol at this stage. He's such an efficient scorer, blocks shots like a champ, and is one of our better guys at getting a defensive rebound. I'd prefer to see us start getting him involved in more pick n rolls and kick outs. But in fairness the fit isn't obvious as a starter, it takes a lot of creativity and imagination to see it work out.

Are we sure WCJ is gonna start right away? Isnt it our MO to *ease* uo our players by giving them minutes restrictions from the bench?

Unless he's on a minutes restriction, there's no way that Moe Wagner starts over WCJ. And it's not like you have to treat Moe like a fragile doll so he doesn't lose his confidence to develop into a star player. Pretty easy choice.

I just read somewhere that WCJ was in the top ten of pick and roll's as well. Can't find the stat
