OnlyFranz takes the prize for getting doubled teamed but i didn't realize how good of a game WCj played especially going up against a big man like Nurkic on a back to back.

V - Paulo pulled us ahead in the first quarter. He set the tempo for the team the rest of the game. It was like 1 block, 1 steal, 9 points in a quarter. Edit - I forgot to add an above average night for him on rebounds, steals blocks
C - Ah Franz the 1 or 2 to my favorite 1 / 2 punch. Any other game I would vote for the vest.
M - Wendel - Fultz - I only can listen and watch highlights and but I saw and heard several Wendel + Fultz = Money throughout the game tonight. If Fultz can continue being THAT kind of a floor general I may change my mind.

We in general when it comes to Vest don't give the rookie the credit he deserves. Much like Franz who is now not so quietly averaging the same as Paulo the last 7 games in PPG has been a Mr Consistent as well the past season.
Real talk, many here and elsewhere thought we were going with Jabari Smith or Chet Holmgrem. Who both might one day develop into great pieces. That's gonna need to be measured in years now.
I think even I run the risk of under valuing him. Because I don't quite know or understand his ceiling other then the future looks bright.

I’m just always surprised in these threads when a guy has one of the best games of his young career, puts the game on his back, and people vote otherwise. You could convince me of Paolo or Carter.

Franz is awesome, carried us in the 4th, he gets the vest.
Wendel was great on a very tough match up.
Fultz was really good defending lillard, getting some tough rebounds and of course finding guys in their spots and scoring efficiently.

The irony of these vests is we usually award them when a player whom we expect less of does better or does something notable through a significant stretch.
If Paulo (as average as his final PPG tally was) didn't go off early, we likely don't win. It changes the run of the game, even when we had the huge dry spell.
I am looking at Paulo as what one would typically expect of a Rookie. Not of one would expect of guys who should notably be better at this stage or who had a great projection but didn't live up to it due to injury. (Sounds like a lot of people on our roster doesn't it.)
