Hampton is least likely to be traded. Unless for a salary dump.
I dont see the reason why any team would take him or give anything for him. Has not proven anything and basically a rental. He won’t even contribute to winning.
I mean we cant even get good value for Tross, what more hampton haha

I think Mo is the only one traded. Ross & RJ get waived.

Bamba, Ross, Hampton are gone.
Regarding Ross, I have no way to prove this, but I believe the front office and Ross came to a mutual decision for a trade at the deadline to the highest bidder, regardless of the offer, and one that would satisfy Ross's desire to be on a playoff team. He hasn't played in the last 8 games. Caleb Houstan got minutes over him yesterday. I think the front office told Ross they were planning to go in this different direction and that they'd take care of him at the deadline. Weltman and Ross have known each other since their days in Toronto. Ross has always been a great teammate. He's going to contribute to some playoff team. We might get a 2nd round pick or 2.
Same could be said for Bamba and Hampton. Those guys minutes have been limited throughout the season. I think the decision was made early on Hampton. And I think as the season went on, they made it on Bamba. I'm not expecting a lot for these players. Bamba might have some value around the league as a back up center. He is owed about $10 million in '23-'24, so we'd have to take back some salary that might be a player that gets bought out.
Only other wild card is Gary Harris. Harris is shooting 46.7%(!!!

) from 3. He is owed another $13 million in '23-'24 where he becomes an expiring contract. He could actually help a playoff team. But, for a team that lacks so much spacing and shooting, we kind of need him to make the Fultz, Banchero, Wagner trio work. I wouldn't be surprised if the Magic trade him. I just think it depends on what the Magic hope to accomplish in the final 2 months of the season. Develop Franz and Paolo in an environment that allows them to thrive, develop Anthony and/or Suggs in the starting roles, or just upgrade the back court overall and push for the play in. I don't think now is the time to get short-sighted if I were the Magic, so Harris should be available for the right return.

This.
Mo Bamba, RJ Hampton and Terrence Ross are definitely gone whether it be at The Trading Deadline or via Trade.
In addition, If Ross and Hampton are not moved, I think they will be released or bought out.
If Gary Harris is moved, The Magic are likely doing it to get Jalen Suggs and Caleb Houstan more time. Kevon Harris could also be converted to a standard contract.
The price for Gary Harris should be a first round pick and nothing less.
Keep in mind, The Magic will not want to take back salary in deals for next season.
As for the other 3 players, they will be lucky to get a 2nd for Hampton (I feel The Magic made a mistake not picking up his option), expirings and 2 2nds for Ross would work and 2-3 2nds with an expiring for Bamba would be nice.
Those 2nd round picks can come in handy in trades so it's bad to add a lot of them.

Not so sure Bamba gets traded in season, WCJ has his foot issue which isn't going to go away.

OR a promising young player
Agree the Magic made a mistake in not picking up Hampton's option, the max the Magic can offer him is $4.2M next season. Could we bring him back at less than that? Would we? Would he? I thought the answer to all those would be no..particularly given the lack of playing time he has received. I'd argue he's probably our 2nd or 3rd best guard defender right now...and that seems pretty valuable and he doesn't seem too far away on offense. Best case scenario would be that we move some other guards let RJ play out the rest of the season in the rotation, if he gets a deal we can't match so be it.
But if we are not going to play him, send him to some team that will or let him find that place on his own.

Hampton, Bamba and Ross are three guys who we'd like to trade but we'll see if anyone wants them.

Wonder if they could swing a Ross for Korkmaz trade?

Bamba packaged with Ross could get the Magic a useful player and another young player to develop under their wing. As for Hampton, at least a couple of second rounders if that.

Philly would have to add another player to Korkmaz to equate to the similar amount for the Magic to trade away Ross.
