I have no idea how Mosley's going to get him minutes, but Chuma is back.

What is his ideal role?

Backup 3/4, but the Magic already have Isaac and Bol doing that.

So I dunno where or how Chuma gets playing time.

Yeah, interesting. Writing is on the wall for Okeke if Bol continues to improve his decision making and team play.

Highly disagree with this. Okeke is such a smart and versatile defender I don't think it's a slam dunk that Bol would automatically take that spot.

This may stop the 3 guard lineups we've been seeing.

I'd also like to see him help cut the minutes of Paolo and Franz. I really don't want to see them play over 28 mpg.

How is it okay to let Chuma play back to back games but JI has to sit at least one game?

Anulo mufa just in case, but most likely on Monday we will have a fully healthy roster for the first time since at least January 2020.

I'm dialling Wagners minutes right down if I'm Coach Mose. He needs a breather. Let's all the other wings/forwards shoulders the load for a month and keep Franz down below 30 minutes.

Do you think there's any competition for playing time between the two? Or do you just have him ahead of Bol in general?

My opinion of Bol has taken a nosedive over the past couple months. I still think he's an interesting prospect but I think he's far away from being reliable. With Okeke, his only variable is his shooting. With Bol, he has a ton of variables. I'd play Okeke if I was trying to win a game right now.

That's an interesting way to put it. Feels spot on.

I think its over for Bol minutes right now. He needs to improve his defense a lot, he is passing wide open 3s. Maybe we can trade him in the offseason i think he earned enough intrigue around the league.
Chuma is very good fit next to Mo Wagner. He is underrated rim protector.

Definitely competition... Bol clearly is more of a weapon. But what good is the weapon if it hurts its own comrades half the time? Okeke just plays the right way and you need those type of players to lessen mistakes over a period of time when you're trying to win.

Right now since the Magic aren't necessarily trying to win games I think Bol needs to play more. After this season I really dont know.

Fair enough. It'll be doubly interesting if we draft someone like Brandon Miller, Cam Whitmore, Jarace Walker, or Grady Dick. Bol, Isaac, and Chuma are pretty versatile backup forwards but with two lottery picks adding another forward isn't out of the question.

There are zero minutes for him at this point

It's basically a Chuma v. Bol argument.

I'd say Okeke gives you a consistently higher floor and won't have as many complete disaster games on both ends as Bol will, but obviously Chuma has virtually no chance to hit the highs that Bol can hit.

I'd probably play Bol and I don't even like him that much.

The real winner here is Coach Moseby who will continue to give a rotation of 11-12 players a night and find a way i'm sure to have a 15 man rotation be legal in a game.

I do wonder if this is Bamba minutes as well. What a ride.

IF we are down 15pts put Bol in, instant offense.

If it's tight, use Okeke, more sound all around game.
