Max Strus?

Unfortunately, I am one of the Orlando Magic fans who resides in South Florida. Forced to watch more Heat basketball than I would like. Max Strus is someone who I feel fits what the Magic desperately need. He is a UFA who could be had on the "cheap". Do you guys think someone like him is actually a better fit than Gary strictly off his 3pt volume? Is a mix of Suggs/Strus an upgrade over Harris/Suggs? Do you think Strus could start for us?

Today's league is about shooting.
You can never have enough shooting.

Early in the year, I mentioned him a few times as a possible target.
Didn't really have the breakout year I thought, but still pretty good.
35% on 7 3pt attemps a game.
We would probably need to over pay for him, around mid level I assume.
Not sure Houstan couldn't do what he can.

Orlando needs to cut-bait from Okeke. Strus would be a very nice bench replacement solidifying major needs for this team.
He might command a full MLE. I think a three year 35M deal isn''t unreasonable here.

i can get behind this. Strus is 27, had a really good year last year from 3 (41%), but an average year this year (35%). and he isnt that good defensively. Caleb shot just under 34% from 3. But he is 20, is 6'8, and has a lot of room to grow. Would i take Strus? sure on a short, small contract especially if Harris is moved, as he would give us bench shooting. But i wouldnt look for him as a starter and I would continue development of Houstan to see what he could do next year. he definitely needs to work on his game all summer.

YEP.
I can't imagine a scenario where G. Harris is back.
I'm actually a big fan of K. Harris too, when he's played, he's everything we want from the SG spot. Above average defense and hits 3s (small sample size). He was also a rookie.
They cleared out Ross, now clear out GH, because we're also going to add a guard. let Houstan get the backup SF minutes.

does anyone envision a scenario where the Heat blow it up after getting swept by Giannis and the Bucks? I don't even know if they would even deal with us but honestly Herro is exactly what we need. An off guard who can shoot with size. I'd honestly deal any pick but 1 for him. We don't really need anymore young dudes on the team straight out of the draft unless it's wemby. I'd push my draft chips in for Herro if there is a possibility. Herro wouldn't have to be the man here just shoot the thing.

We already have Franz and Paolo who are dominant ball handlers to score. Why should we add another with ball attacker in Herro?
What we need is shooting and depth. That is why I am for drafting Hendricks and Gradey
Herro would cost a lot also. Probably a quality young core like Suggs plus one or two draft picks. Too much

I like some of the guys available at 12 more than Strus. I’d be fine with him, but maybe the next overpaid sniper. Riley looking over at Duncan Robinson while pondering re-upping Strus. MLE absolutely…but no bidding war. We can draft shooters and try to trade for or sign a more complete player than Strus.

He'll get more than that. That's not even considering if he has himself a series or more in Tyler Herro's absence.
