From what I m reading, Toronto are ready for a full reset
During the trade deadline they test the trade market for OG and we're offered 3 bad FRP
If we keep 6 and 11
Would you be interested in trading for OG?
Toronto have many easy contrat to move except Otto Porter s contract
So what about OG+ Otto for 6+11?
We can swallow both contract
Fultz, suggs,cole
OG,suggs,Gary,cole
Franz,OG,otto, Houstan
PB,JI,chuma
WCJ,Moe,goga

You'd offer two lottery picks for this guy? That seems way too expensive for a non-star.
He's number 42 on the trade value thread and this is what they say:
"A good two-way guy on a great contract who blossomed as a destructive defender this year … and now there’s inexplicably an Anunoby Trade Deadline Sweepstakes going on even though he’s probably never making an All-Star team. I’m all over the map on this guy. For instance, Portland reportedly offered their seventh pick for OG last summer, and Toronto said no; I thought both teams were crazy. When my old pal Zach Lowe said everyone is pursuing OG, including New York, and it could be a Mitchell-like trade haul for him; I called Zach to make sure he wasn’t smoking bath salts again. Lately, I’ve been coming around. In December, I had OG in the mid-50s next to Wiggins; now I’m wondering why Memphis won’t trade Ziaire Williams and three firsts for him. OG Anunoby: Trade Value Kryptonite"

OG is a good player, and you need guys who can hold up on both ends of the floor in the playoffs, but I would not give two lotto picks for him.

Like Franz he’s NOT a SG. Toronto tried it out and majority fans thought it didn’t work at all.

I think OG could be a very good fit next to Franz and PB
Nice 2 way player that can defend and hit the 3
I don't see Toronto taking less
6 + Denver FRP won't be enough

6 and 11 for OG would be a massive overpay… and you want to throw in another FRP?

No way. OG is essentially under contract for just next year.
The price should be about what we got back for AG. In other words, Gary Harris, a non-lotto pick (Den’s FRP), and a low-tier prospect (Bol).

I like the depth and talent, it’d be nice to draft Taylor Hendricks with the remaining pick as JI injury insurance.

OG isn’t worth two lotto picks.
No thanks.

This morning I checked this board and my thoughts wandered to who is the single player in the off-season that is a reasonable get without mortgaging the future that I'd prefer to add to the magic over the off-season. My first choice is miller in the draft if we get some luck with the lottery. Next is O.G. Anunoby.
It's like you were reading my mind
Id be interested in exploring a Gary Harris along with #6 and #12 this year for OG and #13.

I think that 2025 Denver 1st is mostly useless, so I'd be perfectly happy using that to grease the wheels for just about any trade.
If I'm giving up two guaranteed lotto picks though, I'd want someone better than OG.

Honestly I feel the same way about any non-lottery picks...and then even the difference between early and late lottery picks is vast.
I think GM's put in difficult spots can always find comfort in the headlines which spout either joy or outrage about "X number of first round picks". That Denver pick is roughly worth Okeke, IMO...it could be something, but probably isn't.

OG is really good, but I don't think he's really a 2. He defends at an elite level and is a spot up shooter, but I don't think he really creates much offense. I don't expect him to ever have a Mikael Bridges breakout on offense. He's very good and rock solid, but I don't think he's anywhere near what some are pitching for him.
Offensively, he's not that far off from Gary Harris. He's bigger and better, but not a different species at all. Defensively, he's a punisher, but we need a big scorer if we make a big deal, IMO.

I thought Jalen Suggs is our starting SG next season.

Bigger better Gary sounds awesome. That’s what I would be looking for.
Fultz, Cole, Franz, Paolo and Wendell are all capable scorers who do their best work with the ball in their hands. Not sure we have room for another high usage guy unless that guy is without a doubt better than Paolo/Franz which is going to be hard to find as those guys should be improving year to year.
I believe he or Franz can capably guard SGs and if OG just knocks down open 3s and gets dunks off a back cuts who cares what position he is? It’s about the role he plays.
Our PF, SF and PG play the role of a traditional swing with iso scoring and play making anyway.
