You might remember the Magic FO polled the fans about the logo and uniform about 18 months ago. They issued questionnaires soliciting opinions and generated quite a hubbub around the reworking of a logo that many dislike, a typeface that doesnt say a ton and the lack of proper pinstripes on the uni.

It made no sense to launch anything at the start of a rebuild, but my sense is that next season we're going to see a new look for a team finally ready to compete.

Thoughts about the liklihood?

What would you like to see?

I'd love to see something new.

Ideally its something symmetrical, has original font, and still maintains some aspect of the OG logo.

Redo the logo but keep the ball how it looks. Just Ditch the Orlando Magic font style and the way it wraps around the ball.

New Font. New design layout. Same ball. And 10000% New primary home and away jerseys

I like the Kings font style personally. Short, blocky and sharp would go well with the ball

I love the original logo. It might need a little tidying to make it look like it wasn't typed on a Word Perfect processor, but it's iconic. As for the font, I find the original one a little forced, but there's something there to work on

Our font now is terrible, logo is okay but yeah wouldn't mind some tinkering for sure.

I'd be 80% sure we're getting a change this year.

It’s a new era, things are looking very good for the future. I say it’s time to shake things up and completely overhaul the IP of this team, like what the Tampa Bay Bucs did in ‘97. New logo, new font and a new COLOR scheme. I liked the orange and black.

"Magic" is a very abstract concept to brand around. I.dont hate the idea of the stars personally, in the logo. They got overused when they were also incorporated into the typeface, imo.

Go back to original logo but modernize it a lil bit. Easy, sharp.

My preference too

I thought I saw a jersey design somewhere for next season. Had modern old-school logo, font, and stripes. It could have been here I saw it.

The City edition shirts that had the old school ball in orange and silver on the sides... that showed how the old logo could be updated.

The old font was too Mickey Mouse tho. I think they realised that but what they went for with the last rebrand was just so dull and lifeless.

I like.the idea of "Magic" in a cursive typeface with just a small star over the "i". But maybe the typeface could be something wacky, gothic and arcane, like it came out of a spellbook from the middle ages. Dunno, just not bland please like the current one.

Thicker pinstripes like in the original unis, but not too thick. Theyre too subtle at present. Its like if Portland made their classic diagonal stripes so thin you had to squint to see them - whats the point?

The belt thing was kinda cool too.

Every design is since the turn of the century has been simplistic and dull in the league. All around the league the jersey in the 90s were the best because they were fun and big. They should be afraid to start a trend of going back to that. It's all cookie cutter. If they go back to big creative like the 90s and this team does start contending and getting national television they will start a trend. But I fear it's all corporate driven by the nba...you can stray too far from simplistic and safe.

Just put Harry Potters owl with some cool piercing eyes with a magic wand in his mouth swooping in with his claws stretched out and call it a day.
