Why are we assuming we have given a promise?

I was thinking they may have given a promise to Keyonte George at 11. I remember our front office giving promises to Franz and Devonte Graham.

Let's see if George disappears from working out for any teams.

May be, it's possible.
I was thinking about Leonard Miller.

That would be a completely foolish premise at this point in the process…there’s so many fish in the sea

They gave Franz a promise early on, and he wasn't an overwhelming favorite to be a top 10 player. He was projected to go from around 8-14. Keyonte is probably projected to go 10-15.

I'm not saying I 100% agree with the pick, but some kind of promise could've already been made.

Fun story, but why? Did Franz (allegedly) refuse to work out for other teams once he got the big promise?

So Ausar seems to be the favorite for the fans here.

Not universally. Personally I would like to see both picks used on "skill" over "upside". Dick and Hawkins would be a great draft for me.

Why you voted for him when he is not your pick?

Ausar shot 33.3% from an NBA 3 pt line and has elite defensive potential. Add in his handle, athleticism and size and he seems like a great pick at 6. There is a reason he won both regular season and Playoffs MVPs and his brother didn't. He's just a more skilled player.

Where do you find his stats? I only see the 298 against 17 year old short kids. It's going to be a whole different animal shooting against tall players with athletic ability.
