I'd like to see Vuc return at a discount which has smoke. Particularly with WCJ injury history. Something like 3/50 seems reasonable.

I am not buying Vuc's return. It is just rumors with no ground.

Of course, i want to see him return and I think he can still be a big part of the team even though he is on the decline.

I'd say Karl Anthony Towns has to be the biggest name available as a trade target, at least that we know of. He's a career 40% 3 point shooter on heavy volume. Not the greatest defender, but ok at help and rim protection, he's not the worst defender either.

Probably coming off his worst season as a pro, because you know Minnesota thought it was a good idea to start two centers.

The Magic could use shooting whereever they can get it. Center would be a really sneaky place to add 40%+ 3pt on 6+ attempts a game. Could also open up the lane a bit more for Paolo, Franz, and MF.

The big Problem with Towns is he starts his 4 year$224M supermax in 2024-25.
Can a team build a winner with $56M avg salary directed to a center (not named Jokic or Embiid)? I would think that Orlando would be one of the few teams with the financial flexibility for the next few years to find out. Franz and Paolo extensions are two and three full seasons away, and even then they are 25% of cap extensions.

Given the new rules, this KAT deal seems it's going to be a problem. I am sure Minnesota doesn't just want to give KAT away, especially after what they gave up for Gobert, but they have to do something, and I don't really know what teams could practically add KAT....

Maybe Portland could be a trading partner. Lillard to Minnesota, KAT to Orlando, 6+11 and Minny picks to Portland. Portland actually could go the other way, and Adds KAT, and uses Orlando to facilitate, Simons to Orlando, any way we could pry #3 away, with players going to Minny/Portland.

I guess the question is should we move 6+11 for KAT, knowing he has 5 years left, and the last 4 average mid 50's?

This only happens if LeBron retires and Dame decides to ask out of Portland. Magic go all In on a big 4 and fill out the roster with ring chasing vets.

that's a lot of young talent in need of some vet presence, maybe follow up with signing DDV for around MLE and, if possible, could we get Steven Adams or Kyle Anderson for some vet muscle and wisdom? (I don't see a spot for Okeke or Houstan - I'd move our (top 5 protected) 24 frp for something solid and 2rp's are always available, IMO)

I'm letting Harris and MCW walk. I'm trading Anthony (I just don't like his game). I'm stopping this foolishness of playing PG's at SG, especially Suggs who can't shoot. I'm splitting time at PG with Fultz and Suggs, and making the main focus of the offseason be rebuilding our SG position. If Fultz deals with injuries again and Suggs continues to struggle we move on from them next year and focus on PG.

We could also trade up for Scoot and move on from Fultz this offseason, I'd be okay with that because I don't think he's ever going to be reliable health wise and it would save us around 15m.

I think highly of Simons. So do the Blazers.
The deals fans are floating around wouldn’t be enough for Simons. Mine would be.

I think my OG offer is fair. He wants out of Toronto, they decreased his role. Raptors may be tanking. Our 6th pick is the best pick offered so far based on past trade rumors for Anunoby.

Neither Suggs or Fultz can shoot the three, they're also both really bad at drawing fouls. Suggs can't hit FT's anyway and Fultz is inconsistent. This is not a great backcourt to rely on and is an example of poor roster composition by the front office. The more I think about it the more I want Fultz gone, I'd say Suggs but he's younger and therefore gets a longer leash.

Fultz isn't elite at anything, and he's pretty poor at many things. Can't stay healthy, can't draw fouls (averages 1 drawn foul per game), can't hit three's, not a great distributor, only okay at rebounding, and inconsistent hitting the few ft's he gets.

The more the front office tries to play these two guys together the more clear it is that they have no clue what they're doing.
