Not sure if I’ve attached the image correct but it’s from game 3 of the Finals in Miami. It shows Paolo standing right next to Jokic speaking with him. They look to be very close if not same in height. If Banchero reaches 7 foot would that change anything or anyway we use him? I don’t know how much, or if any Paolo played center this season so I’ll ask anyone that knows. How did he look if he did, and does he have upside at center?

So that was quickly debunked thank you. Any debate on his ability to play center in todays NBA? Dwight ( hate to speak his name ) really bulked up and it seemed easy for him. Paolo with Dwights frame?

Paolo's game, at this point, is nothing like a Center. He's more like a giant SF, handling the ball and blowing by and through lesser physical specimens. His physical advantages wouldn't be as utilized as a C, IMO, unless the staff unleashed some truly revolutionary schemes. Generally, you see Paolo get it up top, put it between his legs a few times and flash to the hoop...rarely (I think) does he really receive an entry pass as a post player like Jokic.

I love the direction and really want to see Paolo bring something we haven't seen before. He's freakishly agile for his size (not just length but bulk) and able to punish lesser mortals going to the hoop, drawing fouls along the way. His scouting report definitely featured court vision and exceptional passing potential so, even if it's not purely from a back to the basket setup (like Joker), I'm still enthused by the vision of him anchoring an effective inside/out offense...again, this is what makes me want combo guards like Simons - who can fill it up from outside (rather than a more traditional PG).

I like your take and when I read “ giant small forward blowing by defenders” I thought about Giannis right away. I think we all can agree Paolo is a freak and none of us seen what he did this season coming. I liked him and expected him to be good, but to say I ever expected what he did right away I’d be lying. I like Simons also and see him fitting the time frame ( 5 years ) for us to make the jump to Eastern Conference Champs with his style of game play.

Actually, 209 cm is above 6'10.
206 is above 6'9
199 is above 6'6
215 is almost 7'1

Jokic is pretty near 7 foot. Paolo is around 6’10. Paolo is perfect sized PF. Tall and big enough to throw his weight around but light enough to still be nimble and athletic. Just wait until he starts getting that mature strength like AG ended up getting.

209.01 cm =6 ft and 10.2874.

That's actual Jokic height, without high heels, oops i mean, shoes.
