The absolute ideal scenario for me is: the Magic end up with Scoot Henderson without trading Paolo or Franz.
More realistically, at #6, I just want them to pick whoever they like best out of the Amen/Ausar/Whitmore/Walker/Hendricks talent bracket. Obviously Amen is probably not there and I might be reaching with Hendricks and he should probably be atop the next bracket of guys, but I always really tend to like how my mock drafts turn out if I pick him at #6, his positional versatility (I'm higher on him playing some 5 early on than most) sets up the #11 pick nicely to really take any kind of player. Jarace Walker I don't like as much for the Magic specifically, because of lack of shooting (if Amen is somehow there I could look past it for him).
Then at #11 just get me a nice talent who brings some shooting; the level of shooting versus other traits doesn't matter that much to me, but I'd rather stay away from the really questionable shooters, especially if the #6 has shooting concerns. So one of Dick/Hawkins/Bufkin/Wallace/George (and Hendricks if his stock is indeed that low) would content me if we stay at #11.
My fear would be something along the lines of Anthony Black at 6 and Bilal Coulibaly at #11. I see the traits with the latter, but I think the hype train has ridden too far because he happened to be on the same team as Wemby, and he should be going more in the 20-30 range. Even if he has nice traits I think he'd need years of development before cracking the rotation, and he'd be lessened as a trade asset until then. Black is just a "don't like non-shooting pg's thing", he's too much young MCW or Elfrid or the mediocre version of Markelle for my blood. I could cope with him at #11, though.
So in general I try to keep an open mind, in my experience if you lock in too much on the one or two prospects you love most (I don't have strong preferences in this one, anyway) and will only be happy if the team picks those, you're likely to have a bad time on draft night. I'd rather just put my feet up, trust the front office, and enjoy the ride. I'll put some more thought into a truly bold prediction
