One thing I notice is that Black guards the other teams' PGs. He's not a player that plays PG on offense and forward on defense like Giddey or Ben Simmons. Black stays step by step with the little, fast PGs.

Just watched the first half of the Arkansas - Connecticut game. My goodness Anthony Black is a difference maker on defense, great at attacking the rim, and good at moving the ball. He's clearly their best player. He looks this good and they are getting stomped haha.

I watched a some of a random smattering of these Michigan games and I came away with the following:
Jett Howard either has a Bamba level motor or that ankle injury is/was worse than reported. He just refused to even jump for an easy uncontested rebound losing it to their tiny PG.
Kobe Bufkin's BBIQ seems horrible
I would offer Hunter Dickinson a spot on our summer league team/G-League team immediately. Seems like a great end of bench big.

YES!!! Another one in the bandwagon. I was trumpeting his name since 3years ago??? Well we shall see next year. He is still playing for the NIL money in college

Watched the Mich Kentucky game, on basis it was before Jetts injuries and quality of opposition was as close to NBA as possible.

Cason Wallace was on Howard and clamped him down. Howard got 3 or 4 movement shooting opportunities off screens but rushed 3 of them. One decent floater but missed a number of midrange shots.

One v nice pass to Dickinson.

Defensively he was pretty OK. Better than the reputation would suggest. But as an offensive weapon he got shut down by Cason.

His dad didn't appreciate a remonstration when Jett came off and he was on the bench for the entire remainder of the first half.

All in all, not that great.
